The Essential Drapey Blouse
How was your week? Ours went by quickly as the kids headed down to South Carolina to spend a few days at my folk’s house for their break from school. They will come home tomorrow, and it will be nice to have a few days of them at home before the start of next week!
The NC State Fair is underway and we have no current plans to go, but I’m kicking around the idea of going on Sunday. I like the fair, the kids love it, but Justin attends as a supportive family member but not as someone who loves that whole scene.
My team and I have started working on holiday gift guides because that time is approaching QUICKLY. It’s like as soon as Halloween is over, we’re in holiday overload — in a good way.
I made an apple pie this week, which is one of my favorite seasonal treats, and pretty soon I’ll make my first batch of caramels.
I’ve been carrying around the Madewell Essential Bucket tote and I’ve gotten a few compliments on it! It’s such a simple bag but the green color is just perfect for fall. The buckle in front is also a really nice detail.
