3 Freezer Friendly Breakfast Ideas to Always Have On Hand

I really enjoy baking and feeding people. Whether it’s bringing a new mom a meal or making a treat for our weekly small group meeting at our home, it’s just something I love to do. And since this is the season of traveling to see friends and family, I thought I’d share 3 easy, crowd-pleasing breakfasts to keep in your freezer so no one is starving in the morning at your home!
I love to make breakfast and usually offer some kind of protein, like eggs, for the main part of the meal. Below are a few options to add in as sides!
Florence’s Coffee Cake, recipe can be found here.
This is so easy to make and is absolutely delicious. You can simply freeze the entire coffee cake, with the topping, and when you are ready to serve it simply take it out of the freezer and let it thaw for 30 minutes before popping it into the oven at 325 until warm (roughly 15-20 minutes depending on your oven, so keep a close eye on it!).
Pioneer Woman Cinnamon Rolls, recipe can be found here (requires lots of prep time so consider starting the night before!).
These are super indulgent and make a massive amount of cinnamon rolls. What’s great about that, though, is you can freeze a few pans, or even gift some to your neighbors! They reheat really well and it’s easy to make fresh frosting while they are baking.
Mini Croissants from Trader Joe’s. Here is a bit more info.
These were a great discovery last year or so. The original version required proofing overnight but the newer version does not! So I always keep a bag in my freezer so I have them ready to go when we have guests!
Whenever I have guests staying with me I always try to make sure to have enough to start the day with. Lunch can be up in the air depending on what we are doing but I like to have something ready to go for breakfast. I also always ask what they take in their coffee if they drink coffee!

I love having premade breakfasts as well – on the days that I don’t, I find myself skipping breakfast, super unhealthy! The mini croissants look so good, I could use one myself right now, haha! 🙂

Those croissants look so good! I only wish I had a Trader Joe’s near by! But I may have to try Florence’s Coffee Cake. That looks really good!
I am disappointed that you are using the copyright protected photos of others on your blog.
I shared the link to the photo source.

I LOVE having a stocked freezer of ANY kind of food, it’s why I have an extra freezer chest in the garage. For the record, most Christmas cookies freeze and defrost really well, too, and that coffee cake is a must try!
The coffee cake looks yummy. My wife is fond of baking cheese cookies recently, may be I could make the coffee cake with her. I also love the rolls only that it may take me a 10-mile running to burn it up…
Just made this, easy and delicious
Thank you for the nice ideas, Kate! My kids especially love Pioneer Woman Cinnamon Rolls and they say thank you!
I wish you Happy New Year and Merry Christmas!
