Around the holidays in 2011, we recruited our mom to help us work on some jewelry in order to keep up with holiday orders. As it turns out, she rather enjoyed making jewelry, and we suggested she start a shop of her own!
She started The Dotted Poppy in February of 2012. It’s been really fun to watch her develop a real love for owning a handmade shop. She’s very detail oriented and takes pride in making her jewelry!

I was looking through all the jewelry and I kept coming back to the Taryn earrings. I love the gold and the design of them, they are such beautiful earrings. Oh my goodness. I was obsessing over every single earring just last night. My husband finally said I could order some (he hates online shopping for stuff like this) so I was scrolling through the test store and everytime I scrolled I was like, “ooh look at those”,” ahh they are so chic and amazing”, oh my goodness that’s the pair I want, wait no those are the ones, but I like these too” haha.
