Pink and red feel especially right this time of year. It’s a classic combination that’s festive without feeling themed, and easy to wear well beyond Valentine’s Day. I rounded up a few clothing pieces, accessories, and beauty favorites in these shades that feel timeless, feminine, and effortless.
Don’t you love the small pink heart charm from Hart? I saw it in a store last month during our visit to Charleston. And of course, I had to add my favorite nail color, Coca-Cola Red! I wrote a blog post a couple of years back about the best red nail polishes, which you can read here.
“And also it’s Bridget’s birthday month – wow! She is just the best. Love her so much! Her humor knows no bounds.”

Bridget, creative designer for the small things, uploaded her collage to this post and added this funny little line at the bottom. Amanda and I were just on a call, and we joked about leaving it in, and I said, “Anyone who refers to their birthday in *month* form would also probably appreciate a public declaration of love”, so we left it.
And while yes, Bridget did declare her love for her own self via the sentence above, let the record show that Amanda and I also do love her and we’re happy to celebrate her birthday *month* soon!
