And now it’s August!
We only have a few weeks until the kids start school and for one of those weeks, I’ll be on a work trip so it feels like my summer with my kids is nearly over!
This summer was sweet in a lot of ways. I felt really relaxed about my priority shift to be present and available for the kids. I know what the school years look like now since they are all in school, and I know that I have an abundance of time to work during the school year. So lightening my load this summer to be free to play and be flexible with my schedule was a deep source of joy.
We traveled, we had chill days and nights at home, we spent time with friends and family, and we ate plenty of ice cream.
