The kids had to join me for my tattoo removal appointment today. I told them it hurt and that they would just need to wait for a few minutes in the studio lobby while I had it done.
“Mom, will you scream?” David asked me.
“No buddy, I won’t!” I replied.
And then the tech told me we were doing a more intense laser given the status of the fading ( this is my 3rd or 4th appointment, I can’t remember!). So I had to really make sure I wouldn’t scream because I knew it was going to hurt worse.
I made it out of there sans screaming, just limping a little from the pain on my toe and ankle. There is nothing quite like the searing pain of laser tattoo removal. Wow. Let this story be a lesson to think deeply about whether or not you want a tattoo one day!
