I had a different week than usual and a great one at that! On Tuesday, Amanda, Jordan, and I headed out to the Grove Park Inn for a few days of rest and relaxation. We had a few plans for dinners and knew we wanted to spend a good deal of time at the spa, but beyond that, we truly just left the day open to whatever we felt like doing.

The Spa at the Grove Park Inn is unbelievably nice. We spent several hours there! There are multiple pools, hot tubs, steam rooms, saunas, etc. We ate lunch in our robes by the outdoor hot tub, looking over the Blue Ridge Mountains. It was just perfection.

We ate great food, enjoyed drinks in the lobby, and didn’t even come close to running out of things to discuss.

This is a fitting time to share that this was a team retreat of sorts. Jordan has been a friend and my go-to photographer since 2013, and I’ve had the joy of working with Amanda closely since 2019. Jordan is technically a contractor, but Amanda is an official part of the team. We recently went through a transition with Taylor, who was also a team member, as she embarked on a new opportunity. We will miss her!

So this weekend is a mix of family time, catch-up from a short work week, a group date night out, and a friend’s baby shower! I hope you have a nice weekend!
