It’s “time change” weekend which is so depressing. I do like the lighter mornings but if I had to choose, I would rather have it stay lighter later into the evening. What do you prefer?
The kids had a great time trick or treating on Halloween, despite the cold and rainy weather. It certainly could have been worse, so we made the most of it by bundling up over costumes and setting out with umbrellas and winter hats.
This weekend (Nov 3-6) Miranda Frye is having a special holiday promo at MirandaFrye.com. Spend $100 and get the Valentina Earrings for free – not launching until January! Just add the hoops to your cart and then put in code FREEHUGGIE and that will remove the price of the Valentina hoops. Happy shopping!
My team and I have been working on holiday gift guides, and those will start rolling out next week! They are a little smaller than last year’s versions, with a greater focus on gifts that really make a statement!
And here are a few things I mentioned on Instagram Stories recently that you may have missed
Makeup by Mario Etherial Eyes Palette
Amazing Perfume for Winter Months
Armani Luminous Silk Foundation
Bobbi Brown Undereye Color Corrector
Nylon Socks to wear with Boots

The fact that you call them “winter hats” makes me chuckle. I’m in Canada and we call them toques! Glad your crew was able to bundle up and still enjoy themselves – winter hats and all haha!
I agree that it is better to have it lighter in the evening. I really hate standard time. I live in Southern California and it is beautiful to be able to take a walk on the beach at 6pm. Sunday night the sun is going down at 4:58. Makes me sad. Many people bring up the argument that kids would be going to school in the dark, but we had legislation passed that has a start time of 8:30 for high schools. My granddaughter’s elementary school starts at 8:45. So that argument does not hold up. It is going to be a long winter.
