3 Hair Things People Should Chill Out About

Happy Friday! It’s our final weekend home before the start of the school year. We have very few plans this weekend so I hope to spend a lot of time in the pool!

I recently finished the book Carrie Soto is Back by Taylor Jenkins Reid and I just can’t stop thinking about it. I miss the characters. I miss the story.

Many people have recommended Daisy Jones and the Six as my next read since it’s from the same author, but I’ve heard mixed reviews. I tried reading The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, also by the same author, and could not get into it. I think I’ll try listening to Daisy Jones on Audible.

I was supposed to have a poolside photo shoot this week, during which we were going to make some pizzas in the Ooni, but we got rained out. I’m anxious to spend more time perfecting my outdoor pizza-making.

I just bought this bag on Amazon because I’ve used my bright green one so much in the summer and I wanted a more neutral shade.

And here are a few things I mentioned on Instagram Stories recently that you may have missed:

Daisy Jones and the Six is great! I highly recommend listening to the audio version. I didn’t enjoy Evelyn Hugo but Daisy Jones felt like you were listening to an old school VH1 Behind the Music… also Benjamin Bratt should narrate everything. 🙂 hope you give it a try!

Are you experiencing any side effects from spironolactone? I’ve been recommended this medication by my doctors, and I’ve read a variety of reviews. I appreciate your honesty!

I highly recommend listening to Taylor Jenkins Reid’s books! I was trying to get into listening to books last year when I was doing a lot of long solo drives, and picked the seven husbands of Evelyn Hugo first. I quickly learned that the readers for TJR books are entertaining and consistently good compared to the readers for books from other authors. I think I’ve listened to 4 books from TJR now!

Daisy Jones and the Six is amazing as an audible listen! Each character is a different person talking. Much easier to listen to, than read! Hope you enjoy it!

I’ve loved ALL her books! Daisy Jones and Six is amazing! For the longest time, I thought they were a real band – it’s so life-like. The Amazon series is also very good. Loved Carrie Sotao! I agree: when a book is good I want to get to the end, but then I’m disappointed that I can’t go on with the characters!
