We are officially in a summertime groove! The weather was gorgeous this week in Raleigh and we enjoyed lots of time outdoors.
We ate dinner on the back porch last night and I made this Cheesy Bacon Jalapeño Corn dip. I left out the Jalapeño though because I thought it would be too spicy for the kids, and it definitely impacted the dip. It kind of needs the Jalapeño!

I’ve been wearing the shade “Charged Up Cherry” by OPI on my nails, which is the perfect summery pink/orange. I think I like it better than Cajun Shrimp!
The kids and I, along with Amanda and her daughter, are volunteering at the Food Bank today. We’ve done this one other time before and really enjoyed the experience! I’m grateful to have a way to include the kids in something that gives back to our local community.
