I was really tempted by the Simple Human mirror that was on sale during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I mean, the sale price was low given the starting price and the mirror looked really cool. Some reviews I read, though, confirmed what I was thinking. One said it was over-engineered and under-designed and I can kind of understand what they meant. The cool features of the mirror are not things that are terribly important to me, and ultimately I decided I’d rather save my money to spend it elsewhere.
I did need a new vanity mirror, though, since the one I bought a few years ago broke. I wanted something a bit larger and that would still have a tilting option. Amazon, naturally, had tons of mirrors and I ultimately landed on this one. I love, LOVE, that it can swivel from portrait to landscape and tilts as well. It sits a little bit low for my preference so I’m planning on looking for a decorative or acrylic box to set it on.
While I was enjoying my new mirror, I was reminded of some other successful Amazon purchases that I use very regularly. Below are a few of my most used and favorite things.
Hanging Jewelry Organizer – I have a bit more space in my closet at the new house but I love being able to see all of my statement earrings and bigger necklaces while they are stored in this hanging organizer.
Swiveling Tabletop Mirror – This is the mirror pictured above.
Handheld Steamer – I used to have a large steamer on wheels that I stored by my vacuum but I realized that I really only rarely used it on a few shirts so I switched over to this handheld and never looked back. It heats up so quickly and I can steam several shirts before needed to refill it with more water! I love how small it is!
Ultrasonic Jewelry Cleaner – My sister inspired this purchase because she also has a jewelry cleaning machine. I have to say, I was really impressed with how much cleaner my rings looked in only 90 seconds. I haven’t tried it with jewelry cleaning solution yet but that’ll be my next step!
Dymo MobileLabeler – I use this mobile labeler for so many things, both in business and in my home. It’s easy to use, allows you to customize your labels, and makes you feel like an organization goddess.
By the way, I have a lot of my other favorites from Amazon linked up for you right here, if you want to check it out!
