Give your Nails a little TLC
We had a few warm and sunny days this past weekend and I found myself wanting to get started on plants, considering what herbs and veggies I wanted to plant, and how to spring-ify my front doorstep until I SUDDENLY REALIZED IT’S EARLY JANUARY STILL.
It was a tease of a weekend. A delightful, well-spent tease.
February is coming. February seems to be the longest, coldest, dreariest month of snow and ice storms. I actually kind of dread February every year. Luke’s birthday is in February and he is going to get a green bike with pedals and I hope we have some decent time to be outside with it when he gets it!
Anyway, I’m getting ahead of myself. I’m already worrying about non-existent snow and ice in February when it’s still early January.
So how are the New Years goals and resolutions going? Mine are going quite well! I’ve been able to clean out some areas of the house that desperately needed it, hang some photos from the shoot we did in the fall with Rachel Hennessy, and add a few faux house plants to empty shelves which temporarily satisfied my desire to plant outside!

This soup looks delicious + healthy!
I use this coffee mug every single morning. It keeps my coffee w/ half & half piping hot for a LONG time!
Such a cute lunch bag, I wish I had a need for it!
I love the color of these running shoes, and always have a good experience with New Balance.
I love stripe tee’s on their own or as a layering piece under cardigans or open sweaters. This looks like a great, thin layering tee in navy and white!
I’ll be sharing more about my experience working with a professional organizer to tackle my beauty closet in my office now that the project is complete! I need to take some “after” photos first!
I hope you have a great weekend!
