As much as I love following style bloggers, I don’t have it in me to go through the effort of taking beautiful staged photos in scenic locations.
But I did manage to snap a few photos of my most worn/favorite transitional outfits for this time of year. For the lighter options, I would just add a puffer vest or another layer on chilly days. But most days, at least lately, we have been in the mid 50’s so light layers is enough for me!
I did my best to find really similar dupes for older items that I’m wearing, and you’ll find each outfit breakdown below the image of me wearing the outfit.
t-shirt, denim, boots, necklace, bag
jacket, t-shirt, distressed denim, bag, shoes
stripe dress, vest, booties, earrings
A few of the items I’m wearing a such wardrobe staples for me. I bought the green military vest from Gap a few years ago and I wear it all the time. The grey roll-sleeve t-shirt in the first photo isย alsoย from Gap and I love how soft it is!
Since I’ve really honed in on my style being easy and casual, it’s simple to mix new items into my wardrobe since I know what I always tend to wear!

That mirror is beautiful!
Thankyou for sharing realistic yet inspiring outfit pictures!! Shot in a normal location and not by a high end fashion photographer – this is extremely refreshing! xx

FYI: that puffer vest you linked to is now on sale, and there’s a promo code for 30% more off. So it was originally about $100 and it’s cut down to $35. sooooo it’s on the way to my house now. ๐
NICE find!
Super cute… in Michigan we aren’t thinking about spring outfits until March and April. #springfever
Cute outfits…i love the green military style vest. For what it’s worth, I enjoy some style/fashion blogs, I always think they take just 2-3 too many photos for my liking. Yes it’s easy to scroll by, but in the long run I end up skipping their work altogether. So, thanks for not doing overly staged shots ๐
