Graphic Tee and Layers

The eye shadow trick that will save your face!

Fall in Raleigh means chilly mornings, sometimes very warm afternoons, and cool evenings. Layers are the only way to survive it without changing your outfit 3 different times a day. The lack of humidity is welcomed with open arms, so even though the temperatures may hit 80+, it doesn’t feel as oppressive as it did in July.

I’ve had this grey waffle hooded sweater for years, and I wear it so often in the fall. I have a slightly warmer version from Athleta that I pull out when the temperatures dip a bit more too. It’s a closet staple for me, and I like that the hood makes it casual so it can go with my wardrobe.

Jeans with a single roll at the ankle and a simple t-shirt are what I’m most comfortable in. Mix that with a cute bag and some booties and you’ll surely feel pulled together even in a basic outfit.

I love the tshirts with the words on them. I just haven’t really found any that apply or speak to me. How do you chase toddlers in heels?

Ah you can’t go wrong with layering! Layering is how I dress like 90% of the time during the fall and winter. Today in Pittsburgh was a high of 80 degrees which is insane! Then tomorrows high is 64..layers are needed! In Pittsburgh sometimes you never know what you are going to get.

Sometimes you hit all 4 season temperatures in one day!!!

I follow you on snap, the blog, and Instagram. We have little ones about the same age. When you post stuff we typically wear the same size. Did you have to go up a size in the rockstar jeans? I have heard mixed things! Thanks so much!

I have several Rockstar jeans and have gone down a size in all of them. For reference, I’m 5’3″, about 140 lbs and buy 6P. Hope this helps!

Just curious what size shirt you’re wearing… Always hard to order shirts online without having tried them on (or have other shirts in that brand). Thanks!

Hi Kate!

I love all the pieces in this post! Graphic tees are my favorite! I have one random question I hope you can help with. I am trying to insert picture carousels like you have at the bottom of your post in my blog, and I can’t seem to find a reliable code to work. Can you tell me how you get image carousels in your posts?

thank you so much!
