Peach Topped Belgian Waffles

First things first, this isn’t a recipe. It’s more of a hack.
Why? Because I never pass up the chance to make waffles with Krusteaz. I’m fairly certain my sister introduced me to this brand, she’s the waffle maker of the family, and I’ve never explored beyond it.
I did add a little something to the original Krusteaz mix to make it pair really well with the peaches. So, here are the complicated and challenging directions:
1. Add 1 tablespoon brown sugar and 2 teaspoons cinnamon to Β the original Krusteaz waffle batter (directions to make waffle batter is on the box).
2. Add nothing else, just make the waffle.
3. Top with sliced peaches and powdered sugar.
4. Invite friends over to enjoy waffles.
5. Cancel friends and eat every waffle instead.
See? It’s virtually as easy as the box mix itself. The cinnamon and brown sugar go *perfectly* with the peaches. Trust me.
If you are feeling up the challenge, try this recipe. It’s next on my list when I have longer than 4 minutes to make something!

Seriously?
seriously, what? if you don’t like it, don’t read it π
Sometimes you’ve just gotta phone it in girl! π
Sounds yummy!
I’m such a hoarder with my food now, because my kids will eat everything off my plate. I love them too much to say no, but I also love my food so I will say no and then my food doesn’t taste as good when it’s sprinkled with guilt.
All of that to say…
Step #5 wouldn’t even be an issue because step #4 wouldn’t even have been a thought. This is a total after the kids are in bed kind of snack.
Eating in secret… It’s what moms do.
I love your comment. π
Sounds yummy! I love Cynthia’s comment above! “Eating in secret… It’s what Moms do!” That’s so true!!! I’ve eaten snacks in the laundry room or in my closet so that my son won’t beg for them! Haha!
Easy recipes are the best!!
This post is dripping with sarcasm and it’s just what I need today, along with waffles. Officially drooling!
I love this post! I was a little confused to see a waffle post come across my feed from your space, but you totally made this your own. The sarcasm + the complete honesty are two things I can definitely get behind. π Sounds like my kind of recipe! Thanks, lady!
