Tarte Miracles from the Amazon Collection
Delivery Day!
You’ve probably heard me talk plenty about Tarteย here onย the blog. I’ve been a big fan of a lot of their products for awhile (amazonian butter lipsticks, amazonian clay blushes, best in faux lash fibers, amazonian clay full coverage airbrush foundation, etc.).
So, when I got an e-mail from Tarte asking if I was interested in trying out their new Miracles from the Amazon Collection (that’s only available on QVC TODAY 2/13/2015), I had to compose myself before writing back something like, “ARE YOU KIDDING ME OF COURSE I WOULD!!!!!”
They sent over a kit, and I was able to film a tutorial for you using all the components of the collection! I have to say, I was most excited about they beautiful eyeshadow colors in the palette. I always default to neutral/cool shades of eyeshadow, and these fell perfectly in that category but also had a bit of life behind them in the soft plum/lilac shades.
My goal was a pretty daytime look that’s a bit more interesting than browns. It would be so easy to get a deeper, smokier eye with the eyeshadows too.
I really liked the coverage of the foundcealer. It’s about time a makeup brand came out with something like that!
If you are interested in the kit, which is $59.96 (valued at over $175.00!), today is the only day you can get it for that price on QVC. So, head on over there immediately because I was also warned that these tend to sell out fast.

I received the Miracles from the Amazon 6-piece Collection as a gift. I was not additionally compensated for this post, nor will I receive affiliate earnings from links on this blog post.ย

Thanks- purchased! I have wanted to try their products as well but when each product is so expensive…I’ve been hesitant. But $60 for all of these plus your tutorial made it too good to pass up!
I’m with you! I’ve been dying to try their products and this seems like the best deal to get everything!
Thanks for posting this! I can’t wait to hear from you about your baby though!:-D
She had a boy, Lucas (Luke) Jay Bryan. It was on Instagram ๐
Thanks! I’m not on Instagram so I appreciate the reply. ๐
It is so funny this was your post today! I spent a good hour watching this debut on QVC last night deciding whether or not to order it. I think it might be sign from above ๐ Just ordered it! Love the glowy look it gives! And you look gorgeous, as always!
I’m so glad you did a tutorial on this! I ordered it last night. It’s great to see it in action. Can’t go wrong with Tarte products ๐
You look beautiful Kate! These colors look nice on and are very flattering. I have appreciated the blog for advice on makeup and good products to try, thanks for taking to the time to do this! Congratulations on the new little one, by the way ๐
I am pretty sure you answered this once, but I can’t find it, so I’ll ask again. You are the only person I’ve ever seen who does your eyes first, and then the rest of your face. I actually tried that once, and felt that I wasn’t getting the overall look right by going “backwards”. Why do you do it that way?
I know you were asking Kate and not me but… I do mine that way to and I think that its the same reason for both of us. I make a mess when I do my eyes. So if I do my eyes first then I can clean up and not have to re-do my foundation. I could be wrong she may have a different reason but I am pretty sure that is why. Hope you don’t mind me sharing my reason and thoughts.
Yup – I learned this as well. When I do my makeup – I do my eyes first to clean up fallen shadow and clean up liner. When I went to Sephora to inquire about tape of some sort to use for clean up, they actually suggested plain old scotch tape! I was surprised, but it actually works. I just put my finger on it first to take away some of the tackiness and then I moisturizer under my eyes afterwards to replenish!
@ Ellen I’ve heard Kate say before that it’s a preference but she likes to start with her eyes in the event of any fall out occurring with eyeshadow ect…then she can easily wipe it off before foundation and powder is set.
That is a wonderful set- so many beautiful products and the price really is hot- gonna check if it is still available.
Thanks Kate for doing this video. I am thinking about ordering this TSV! I love Tarte products as well. I have quite a few Tarte products already, but since I love makeup this might be too good to pass on! The only thing I am never sure of is picking the right shade. I am thinking fair or fair-medium. I read somewhere these shades ran light. Hope you are resting & enjoying your time with “Luke”!!
You are darling! Love this video!
Thanks for the tutorial, Kate! I just ordered mine and I can’t wait to try it out!!!
I love the look!
Thanks Kate for the info on this. I just ordered it. I’ve never tried Tarte products but love that they use safe and natural ingredients. This collection looks great, can’t wait to try.

Ordered mine and already received it! I love the coverage of the foundcealer and the versatility of the eyeshadows! Gourgeous blush and perfect lip color. I’m so happy with my product. Thank you for the recommendation!
Thank you for posting this, Kate! I ordered it as soon as I saw your tutorial, and although it came right away, I haven’t used it yet. (I’ve been stuck in the house, having some problems with our very early pregnancy with Baby #4, so today will be my first day out of the house in a while…I’m going to a painting class with some friends!) Today will be the first time I use it, so I just watched your tutorial again and wrote everything down, step by step! So excited!!
I love the purple tones in the eye shadow palette! Tate Airbrush powder foundation is fantastic as well.
