My Favorite Lip Products

After you did a product review on the Dior Addict Lip Glow a while back, I picked it up to try. I’m obsessed! That stuff is amazing!! I’ve always been a lip gloss kind of girl, but this has totally changed my mind! 🙂

I have wanted to try the Dior lip glow forever! I love all the colors of the lipsticks you’ve mentioned. I think there are a few of those that I’m going to try out for sure 🙂

I Pink i Love You

I love keeping chapstick like Softlips in my purse during winter months to keep away dry lips! It’s perfect because I don’t need a mirror to apply it and it gives a little shine. Great video, Kate! 🙂 P.S. You definitely have me wanting to try the new UD Lipsticks!

The two lipsticks I use most often are both neutrals, one with a more brown base and one with a more pink base. I also have a nice bright red lipstick that I bust out sometimes, because some days are just red lip days. 🙂

You know what I have been LOVING lately? Mary Kay lip gloss. It actually lasts on my lips and is sooooooo moisturizing. My lips are incredibly soft right now and that is not a normal thing in the dry climate I live in!

That Bobbi Brown lip gloss is such a nice color, I will definitely be looking into that one!

I love my UD lipstick in streak too! I also love the Revlon Lip Stain balms and the Almay liquid lip balm – especially apricot pucker. I did a review of them on my blog if you want to check it out.

I always used to love the Soft Lips as well, but I would ALWAYS lose them or they’d end up in the wash because the tube was so tiny, so I stopped buying them. 🙁

Great colors! BTW….Nice looking Ikea bookshelf in the background. My husband and I just bought our first Ikea pieces. The same bookcases but the ones with all glass front doors. 🙂

I keep in my bag shades of fuschia and melon or coral. My favorite color EVER is a Sonia Kashuk magic mulberry lip gloss, but like usual the rest are like whatever to me. I also love a Sonia Kashuk lip sheer in melon. I really am still on the hunt for the perfect formula (as I mentioned, I love these colors), so I am going to try the UD you mentioned. Thanks for recommending great product!

I LOVE THIS POST!! I don’t really like the soft lips – I admit I am true blue chapstick girl.

I literally have a small bag just for my lip glosses and lip sticks. My favorite color is by MAC – honeyflower. I also wear the Baby Lips by Maybelline.

I don’t own a lot of lipsticks, but I love to try that urban decay lipstick! It’s sounds like a great one 🙂

May I recommend holding the products closer to the camera, and swatching. I totally appreciate the list of your faves, and I’d love to see them in action. (On your hand is fine.) Thank you for sharing your talents with us.
I love Maybelline Color Whispers right now. They’re pretty easy to apply without a mirror (slightly sheer) and I love the texture.

You should try the new bareMinerals Jack of All Trades lip balm.. They are like tinted chapsticks almost… I love them because I have a 4 year old and I don’t wear alot of lipstick… the good thing about these is that while they provide a hint of color to your lips.. when you kiss your baby they don’t show on them as much as normal lipstick does…

This is such a great list! A girl can never, ever have enough lip stuff. Have you ever tried theBalm Staniac? It’s my absolute favorite for a night out/special event because it stays on forever!

My favorite daily lipstick is Clinique lipstick in Guava Stain. Super neutral – I don’t like to go as pink as you do because I’m brunette and have olive skin, but this adds enough warmth and brightness for daily wear for me.

I also LOVE the Bobbi Brown lipglosses! Not sticky and last FOREVER!

Your video made me laugh. I’m the same way with lip products. I have more lip products in my bag than days in the week. I always have Sephora color reveal lip balm, a few Smashbox glosses and lip tints, a few Sephora glosses, a miniature tub of vaseline, and my new obsession, lip tar. You can never have too many choices!

My favorites are L’Oreal Balm in Rose Elixir and CoverGirl Lipslicks Smoochies in Luv U. I’m blonde haired, blue-eyed and fair-skinned and those two fit me perfectly. I’m absolutely dying to try Dior Addict Lip Glow, after your post about it, but I haven’t saved up the money yet. You’d be amazed how many things I’ve purchased after reading glowing reviews about them from you or your sister. 🙂

My daily go-to is Revlon’s Colorstay in Faithful Fawn. It one of those my “natural color but better” tones. Love that I apply once and that is it. I’ll wear a clear or very lightly tinted lip balm over it (Burt’s Bees in Peony is my favorite) but I can go without the balm if I want too. Now I may have to add some actual lipsticks to my collection though.

I bought the DiorAddict Lip Glow after you first reviewed it and I LOVE it. It’s the first lipstick I think I’ve ever actually used up completely and replaced. I think I’ll put that Urban Decay lipstick on my wishlist next. The funny thing is that when I looked at swatches online, Streak was one of the colors I was most drawn to, and now I really want to try it!

Well I used to sell Mary Kay and have a lot leftover so currently I have several Nourishine shades I’m in love with! I have been wanting to try red lips, and I love the look on others but cant seem to like it on me. Any suggestions? What are good shades to pair it with?

I am right there with you, Kate! The new formula for Urban Decay lipstick is FABULOUS! I don’t know what they did, but I just love it. If you are in the market for a red lipstick, F-bomb is beautiful! I’ve always struggled with finding the perfect red lipstick. Some are too orangey, some are too blue. This one is perfect! So if you like the UD lipsticks, check it out 🙂

I bought the ub streak on your recommendation with my last sephora order-I really like it. I’m pretty tan (for me) so it’s much brighter right now, but it’ll be a winter go-to for sure!

My favorite lip gloss is by Clinique – Root Beer. It’s fabulous for toning down lipsticks that are just a bit too bright, and somehow brightens up the ones that are too nude. Seriously, Poppy King. That has to come back someday. I’m babying my one tube because I receive complements every time I wear it and I love the formula.

Your raves about the Urban Decay lipstick makes me very tempted to try it out. I am a lipgloss girl, cheap or high end, love lipglosses. My go to lip balm is the amazing Lush Chocolate Whipstick. Moisturizing, plush, no real color on my lips but it works.
