Citrus Lane Box #1
Fall Cravings
I purchased a 3 month subscription to Bluum box a few months ago. I wrote a bought it here. Overall I liked the boxes, but the price seemed just a little high to get things that I potentially wouldn’t use.
So I decided to give Citrus Lane a shot. I’ve heard about this subscription service for awhile and am happy to finally have a reason to subscribe!
Citrus Lane, as well as Bluum, are box subscriptions that deliver baby-related items right to your doorstep each month. Very similar to Birchbox, you fill out your info and they curate a box for you!
You can read all the details about Citrus Lane here!
Grits was very curios about what was in this box. There were many things to sniff.
I loved the little stackable lion. And the Clean Well wipes will be great to toss in my car for when I’m on the go with the baby.
Again, a few small packages of diaper rash cream that will be great to keep in my diaper bag.
And this! This was absolutely perfect for me since I’m a cat lover! The argyle socks are not my favorite because they remind me of UNC. . .and we all know I’m a Duke fan.
Overall, I really liked the box! I felt like the products were great quality and while paying $21 bucks a month for a box that you don’t know what will be included, I was happy with it!
I swear I could probably sign up for every monthly box subscription service around. I love the concept, and love being introduced to new products.

This is a cool idea!!
I just signed up to get my first citrus lane box too and am excited to see what Sept brings!
My best friend gave me a 6 month subscription as a gift at my baby shower. I really loved it and it was great getting something fun each month. The boxes had so many cute things. Hope you enjoy them all!
Very cute! I love hard back books…they look nice when stacked up on a dresser or placed on a book shelf… thanks for the info!

I have debating whether or not to sign up with Citrus Lane for a few months now. Looks like you get good quality stuff, so it just might be worth it! 🙂
I loved citrus lane! Got a lot of items I really liked that I wouldn’t have gone out to buy. Just FYI… When you pre-pay they automatically renew your subscription after the period is up and roll you into a monthly plan at full price unless you go in and cancel. Also… Keep an eye for coupon codes or groupons. I only paid $15/month while I was subscribed.
That’s adorable, I’ll need to keep that in mind for my friends when they are expecting. I used to get 5 different beauty boxes until under my bathroom sink got totally out of control. I think I liked getting mail more than I actually liked or used the contents 🙂
Kate – Your love of “boxes” inspired me to jump and get a Stitch Fix. Have you tried those? Super addicting! (For clothing – you pay $20 to have the stylist send 5 clothing items that you can keep or not, and they subtract your $20 from anything you do keep.) Thanks for this post. I know 3 new mommies who JUST had little boys, and I needed a nice gift option to send them!
I’ve gotten one stitch fix and I like the idea of it, but I probably won’t get another box. I like shopping for my own clothes too much 🙂
I use to get the citrus lane boxes but after a few months you start to realize that its the same stuff over and over again… a book/toy, some kind of lotion or soap or cream…in reality for people that are on a budget it would be cheaper to just go out and buy the product they need. Plus its $24 a box once you go month to month. Love the idea and products, just dont think its worth the money.
Still miss the babystrology.com’s countdown.. ;o)
This is a sweet idea for expecting moms. I will have to keep this in mind as a gift for preggo friends and family in the future! 🙂

I am SO ADDICTED to monthly boxes! Ever since I discovered Birchbox from you (and thank you SO MUCH!) I have been loving them. I get Citrus Lane for my 2 year old daughter, and my older kids love looking thru it too. They like to play with the toys with her. We’re going to go in together at work and buy a subscription for a coworker who is pregnant with her first! Enjoy!
I must tell you, the Weleda diaper cream is the BEST! Seriously, diaper rash gone by the next time you change baby. It is no joke. My now two year old will request the good cream if she gets a little rash. It is seriously the best cream out there. A little more expensive but a little goes a long way. She is two and we are only on our third tube.
I’ve been wanting to try these boxes!

Cute! I have never tried any box subscriptions. Have you felt like overall they are worth the value? I found this website link that has ALL of the box subscriptions in a list! I had NO idea there were so many! I found it trying to google one that either you or your sister blogged on (it was one with letterpress cards and such, I still haven’t found it again #SadFace). There are even boxes for “that” time of the month. Wowsers. Here is the link to that list: http://www.ramblingsofasuburbanmom.com/monthly-subscription-box-list/
I’m waiting for someone to start a cat box subscription… Although they’d probably only like the box it came in so maybe that’s not such a good ideal…

I love the waleda diaper cream they gave you. I got a full size tube in a bluum box, worth every penny. It has lasted months and I use it every night.
You give such great reviews of all the these “box” subscriptions! I will have to remember this on when I have children.

Are you familiar with the “Pete the Cat” series? If not, you MUST get them and download the songs that go along with them. They are darling!! Start reading ASAP.

That diaper cream is GOLD! I use it on my baby and it nips it in the bud so fast. Hold on to those samples!
This is an awesome box! I really love these monthly box subscription posts!

The Weleda diaper cream is THE BEST!
Thanks to a CL box last year I found out about Weleda…love!
I’ll gladly find a spot for those socks on some little Carolina fan feet. 🙂
