I was shopping for a dress to wear to a wedding this weekend and ultimately settled on this one. I can dress it up a bit with jewelry and possibly a fancier hairstyle, but it’s still casual and comfortable for summer.
I may add a belt, but to be completely honest I’m not a huge fan of the “belt above the bump” look. Maybe it’s just me, and maybe it will look different once I’m a big bigger, but sometimes I feel like it cuts me off in a strange place.
Anyway, I grabbed my new favorite clutch as I left to go shoot this outfit. I love how the look turned out a little bit nautical. The gold stacking rings were the perfect simple compliment to the statement necklace.

This dress is SO beautiful and very flattering on you! I love that pop of yellow!
Love the dress! Looks like it will fit for a while as your belly grows to!

Very pretty! Maybe a sash/scarf instead of a belt?
I had a thing for polka dots with my first two pregnancies – I wore this one blouse my husband called my Bubble Top almost constantly. Unfortunately, it seems to have shrunk a little (or I’m bigger!) around the edges and it’s not as comfy this time around. Still love it and had a lot of other dots-style shirts and dresses, even though I’m usually not a “dots” person when not pregnant. Kind of funny.
This dress is adorable on you. And I really want my hair to look like yours does!!
Who takes these lovely pictures of you?
my tripod and wireless shutter release 🙂
Love your outfit! And your hair is getting so long!!! Stunning. 🙂

Very cute. You look great! 🙂
I love that clutch! I made my own from Whitney’s tutorial on her blog. It was super easy.
This is so cute on you!
I see the clutch is sold out on Etsy! Love it! You look so pretty.
I’m so in love with that clutch!! It’s funny that you mentioned a belt – there have been a couple outfits you’ve posted recently that I thought about suggesting a belt. But then I thought – ‘Wait, she’s pregnant! I bet she purposely chose not to have a belt!’ Duh. 🙂
You look fabulous! I have a question about your nails- Do you use shellac? I’m a hairstylist and I have 2 little boys so my hands are always in water. Your nails ALWAYS look great and freshly polished. I have tried everything BUT shellac. I would love any tips you can give me. THANKS!
oh my! you have popped! congratulations. you look wonderful.
How do you have your hair pinned I’m this half-up style? Do you just use bobby pins or do you ever use a barrette?
*In, rather than I’m
I did the Half French Twist method!

Thank you! It’s so pretty!
Kate you are so darn cute! I wish I looked that great when I was pregnant. I absolutely love the Stella & Dot Sanibel Pendant. I have the silver one. It is even more beautiful in person, and I love that it is reversible too.
Love the fun stripes and the darling mustard clutch! You look beautiful!

I seriously can’t wait to look as cute as YOU! Stripes are my favorite! Even right now I’m wearing a navy and white striped shirt with pink shorts. Stripes are just the best! Can’t wait till I look as cute as you do preggo! I have awhile before I start showing! When did you notice a real change in the bump? I’m ready for mine to start growing! 🙂
Thats so nice, thank you! I really started to pop out a bit last week (19 weeks). The stripes and gathering of the dress make me look a little bigger than I actually am!
I bought that same dress in coral for a wedding we went to this summer. I love it! It looks cute on you with your little bump!

What nail color are you wearing? I LOVE it!
I love your clothes, but you need some colour in your shoes. They all look the same!!
You look positively glowing with your pregnancy! Super cute outfit! 🙂
I’ve been meaning to post a comment for a couple of weeks after I saw you at the movies. I walked in and immediately recognized you, but didn’t want to bother you nor appear to be a crazy stalker. You are gorgeous in your on-line pictures, but even more so in person! You look fantastic!
I never liked the belt above the belly while pregnant either- what’s the point? You look great!

Are you still making those earrings? I LOVE them! I don’t see them on your etsy shop?
I LOVE your Blog! I just came across your blog (via pinterest) and love your cute hair tutorials and fashion blog. Saw that you are 20 weeks pregnant and so am I due in December!! Also having a boy 🙂 This blog gives me encouragement that I can still look cute and feel beautiful while I’m pregnant! Instead of feeling frumpy and lazy and not do my hair (it’s so hot ourside!) Thanks for giving me the boost!
You look lovely! I started doing the belt-over-bump thing when I felt like I needed some differentiation between enormous pregnant belly and enormous pregnant chest…otherwise I felt like I was just one big blob.

nno expertise in programming but I was hoping to start my own blog in the near future.
Anyway, if you have any suggestions or techniques for new blog owners please share.
I understand this is off subject buut I simply needed to ask.
