Blind Blog Date
Things Are Looking Different Around Here. . .
One of the most wonderful things about blogging is entering into this creative community filled with other people who love the same thing you do.
I went to dinner a few nights ago with Dina (Honey + Fitz) and Lindsay (Southern Lovely), and it was one of those things where we instantly connected. We already knew a good bit about each other through our blogs, but it was so enjoyable to be able to chat in person and get to know each other even more!
You definitely need to check out Dina’s blog. It’s all about home decor and fun DIY projects. And her pantry? To die for.
And Lindsay is afraid of no craft. Just check a few of her posts and see how crafty she is! I’ve recently enjoyed her mantle decor and front door decor! She also has great link parties that I participate in weekly.
The only awkward moment of the night was when I ordered a brownie sundae for dessert. It was awkward on 2 levels. 1. I don’t like cheesecake and I was at the cheesecake factory and 2. It was huge.
โI ordered a Brownie Sunday last night. I must have missed the fine print
on the menu that says “will feed all of the Duggars”.
We all enjoyed a good laugh about it, and then I offered it to the girls sitting next to us. Really. I did.
All in all, it was a really fun night! And I can’t wait to do it again!
P.S. I’m really not that tall. I swear. I think I’m about 5’5”. They just put me in the middle and I was wearing tall shoes!
P.P.S. You may notice my ensemble elsewhere on my blog. Look up and to the right. Yep. Both these photos happened on the same day.

That was such a fun night! And yes, Kate really did offer her dessert to the girl next to us. ๐ It was nice to be able to have a real conversation & get to know all the ‘behind the scene’ details of your blogs. ๐ You gals rock, can’t wait to meet up again soon!
What ever happened with the nail polish? I am thinking about getting that product and wanted to know how it worked for you!

Why go out of your way to explain that your really not that tall?
There is nothing wrong with being tall, in fact its beautiful to be tall instead of short and stubby!
You look gorgeous, and, I’ll be honest, that brownie thing looks like it would have fed an Army, but it looks delish!!
