Like I mentioned in this post, it’s been fun to amp up my makeup a little bit now that the oppressive humidity and heat has subsided, and go for a bit richer and darker hues in anticipation of fall!

But even though I’m enjoying spending a little bit more time on my makeup, I still want it to be really easy.

I bought this Bobbi Brown Cream Shadow Stick in Bark, Bobbi Brown ‘Eye-Opening’ mascara, and a new Stila ‘Stay all day MATTEificent’ lipstick in JolieΒ from Nordstrom the other week, and all 3 products are a total win.

One of the main reasons I like shopping both in store and online at Nordstrom is their fantastic return policy. Buying makeup online can be tough, but with their free shipping and returns you almost can’t go wrong!

For this look, I swept Nars Ondine all across the lid. Then, I used the Shadow Stick along my upper and lower lash line, and I even lightly dotted it along my crease area and used a brush to blend it. Blending at the crease was a little challenging, but I loved how pretty the shadow stick looked along my lash lines. I used a flat brush to smudge that out too!

A shadow stick really similar to Ondine in color is Stone by Bobbi Brown, if you like the ease of stick eyeshadows!

I love the slightly pale pink in the Stila lipstick too. It pops enough to be more than just a nude/rose basic pink, but it isn’t too bright to be too much of a statement lip!

If my memory serves me, and forgive me if I’ve forgotten over the years, I think this is my first go with Bobbi Brown mascara. I almost don’t believe that sentence as I write it, but I cannot ever remember trying any!

I *loved* this mascara. I cannot believe how well it held the curl and added a ton of drama to my lashes. A TON of drama. Like, one coat and I was done. The brush is enormous, which may not be ideal for everyone, but I really liked it. I used a different mascara with a smaller brush for the lower lashes, but I am officially a huge fan of ‘Eye-Opening’ mascara from Bobbi Brown.

I used an old favorite, Estee Lauder Double Wear Light for foundation, and added some dimension with the Anastasia contour palette. For my brows, I used Hourglass Arch eyebrow pencil in Platinum Blonde.

Do you change up your makeup for fall? I’m loving a bit of a bolder brow, and rich brown eyes!

Do you usually use a primer (and what one) before applying the double wear foundation? I’m interested in trying it.

I have heard rave reviews from everyone that has tried the Eye Opening Mascara. I’m a huge Bobbi fan but haven’t tried this product yet! Looks like I need to head to Nordstrom! Happy Labor Day! πŸ™‚

I’ve been using the Benefit Roller Lash and loving it (I don’t use lash fibers with it) but the BB mascara gave you major lashes so I may have to try it!! Did you use lash fibers with it -or just the mascara?

I’ve only tried a few product from Bobbi Brown and have loved them! I seriously need to try more of their products! I’m also very intrigued by the Matte version of the Stila Stay All Day Lip stick since I love the original so much!

I bought the Hourglass and loved it the first couple of times. Now the tip is dull and I don’t get the definition I loved. How do you sharpen the tip?

I love your posts and honest reviews of products! I’m not a hair and make-up pro and I always feel more confident trying new products and styles after reading your blog! You always make it look and seem so effortless too which is encouraging! πŸ™‚
