Swept Braid Updo

Texture, braids, a casual updo. . . all of my favorite things in one hairstyle! Listen, just promise me something, will you? Stretch your braid out way more than you think you should. I think you’ll like it that way.

The texture product I mentioned in the video is Amika’s Un.Done Texture spray. The runner up would be Bumble and Bumble Dry Spun Finish. The flexible hold hairspray is Amika Touchable Hairspray.

If you need a tutorial on how to soften and stretch braids, check this one out!

This hairstyle is so cute and casual! The slightly messy look about it makes me think that this is something I could actually pull off on myself. Favourited for later!

I am having the hardest time when it comes to changing the direction of the braid. Do you have any tips for how to keep the braid going when you change the direction?

This tutorial is so cute, looks easy to follow but I am braiding challenged! I usually style my hair straight, do you have any tutorials on different hairstyles that are straight? Thanks, I love your blog!

Help! I am hair clueless, but I can do a basic braid. What is the braiding pattern. 1- toward face/bottom,2,3- top plat. Is it 1 over 2 & 3 over 2. Or is she going under? 1 under 2, 3 under 2. Then add hair. How? Does she add hair to both sides or only the upper plat?
