I must say: it actually feels like winter here in Raleigh and I don’t hate it! Every season besides summer is relatively mild so to have a cold winter that justifies warm gloves and a scarf for a short amount of time feels fun!
I hope we get a little bit of snow this year, especially since we had 3 decent snowfalls last season! My kids love to play in the snow and while we’re hoping to take them up to Lake Placid sometime this winter, it certainly is fun to get snow here at home.
How was your weekend? My friend Andrea and I played in our second pickleball tournament yesterday and while we didn’t get a spot on the podium this time, we were both really happy with how to played!
We have decorated for Christmas but I’m calling this year Christmas “lite”. Benji, our new cat, is a mischievous little guy and so far he has torn a wreath down twice that we had hanging inside on a window. So! The wreath is going back in storage and we will try again next year!
