I live for a solid colored, well-fitting basic top. Not only does it feel like a neutral palette to pair with any jewelry or lipstick (which is where I really love to be creative), but I find that they are often timeless, and I can pull them out year after year for the season.
I have two ribbed long-sleeve tops from Madewell from last year that I cannot wait to wear again this season, but in the meantime, I’ve found a very similar (and more stretchy) version at Evereve. They’re so soft I have to try not to wear them every day!
For athleisure/lounge basics, it’s hard to beat the Hold Tight long-sleeve top from Lululemon. I wear them all the time, and they’re my go-to in the winter months for layering under vests or jackets.
