The Makeup I’m loving this Spring
links + small things
It’s not profoundly different from how I typically wear my makeup (I certainly have a look I’m comfortable with that I repeat almost daily) but I wanted to have a resource post with everything I’ve been using listed out!
You can watch a quick video on how I’ve been doing my makeup here!
Estee Lauder Double Wear Sheer – this is a really great foundation if you like sheer/light coverage but don’t want a ton of shine!
Huda Beauty Concealer – I absolutely love the coverage and finish of this concealer, but the packaging is less than ideal since the product seeps out.
Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer – the best concealer for blemishes.
Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder for Under Eye – I always use this no matter what concealer I’m using under my eyes. It sets the concealer and adds brightness!
MAC Paintpot in Painterly – a really perfect neutral base for the eyelids.
Artist Couture Supreme Nudes Eyeshadow Palette – this is a neutral palette full of buildable, blendable shades.
NYX Epic Smoke Liner in Mocha Match – this is a darker brown than the shade I have called “Nude Haze” and just as easy to apply and blend in!
Lancome Liner Idole – I’ve been using this liner to lay a thin line along the base of my lashes and it makes my lash line look much more defined.
Lancome Lash Idole – I love this mascara! It gives clean definition and lift without clumps.
Tarte Lights Camera Lashes Mascara – this mascara builds serious volume in only a few swipes.
Anastasia Brow Wiz in Taupe – I like to keep my brow routine rather simple, and this brow pencil is thin enough to give the right amount of control for creating hair-like strokes.
Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara – the only mascara I wear on my lower lashes!
Charlotte Tilbury Bronze and Glow Palette (just the contour) – I’ve been using this palette for years! The contour shade is the best neutral shade for my skin tone.
ColourPop Bronzer in Avila Beach – This is a nice warm bronzer shade for lighter skin tones.
Rare Beauty Blush in Happy – it packs a punch but that is how I like my blush!
Rare Beauty Highlighter in Champagne Pop – I just need to press my brush into this powder and then press it onto the tops of my cheekbones for the prettiest shimmer and reflection.
Anastasia Gloss in Soft Pink – this is a very easy-to-wear soft pink shade and the gloss feels comfortable on the lips.
Lune and Aster Lipstick in Yes We Can – I love a sheer wash of color to the lips and this color is a very easy-to-apply pink. It’s the kind of lip product that you don’t need a mirror for applying.
Don’t forget the Sephora Savings Event starts SOON, so take advantage of that time to do some beauty product shopping!

Hi Kate! Which brushes would you recommend for the eyeshadow, blush, and highlighter? Thank you!
What shade of the Huda Beauty concealer do you use? Love this look 🙂
