I love the color palette of spring clothing. After wearing so much black clothes all winter long, I’m always happy to lean into lighter colors + fabrics!
These are a few essentials to mix into your wardrobe to be ready for nearly anything this spring.
ONE. Light colored sneaker – Sneakers are the go-to shoe and can be paired with trousers, jeans, or dresses. A clean looking light sneaker is so versatile, and this pair from Target is perfect.
TWO. Layering Jewelry – Delicate layered jewelry works all year round, but it really is the hero during spring and summer thanks to lower necklines and shorter sleeves! A few gold necklaces, a chunkier bracelet, and simple earrings are my top choices. You can see some of my favorite jewelry on this video.
THREE. Woven Bag – I like to carry one bag for a long time, instead of switching between bags based on my outfit, so a neutral woven bag is the perfect option to fit into my casual wardrobe.
FOUR. Trench coat – A good trench can last for years and I think it’s the star of the show during Spring.
FIVE. Button Down – I recently got an oversized white button down that I’ve worn a few times and love. It works with denim or leggings, and it’s a nice alternative to throwing on a sweatshirt.
