We’re officially in summer mode! School is out, trips are planned, camps are scheduled, and I’m looking very forward to the summer with the kids!
Someone recently asked about what pool floats we like. We’ve purchased pool floats from Target, Aldi, Walmart, Academy, Costco, FunBoy, and probably other places I’ve forgotten about.
The longest-lasting floats are FunBoy and Aldi!
I tried the Amika Blockade Heat Defense Serum this week and really loved it. The flat iron made my hair feel quite dry, especially on the ends, so I applied a bit of this thick serum to my ends before I went to sleep on the day I used that iron. The next morning I wanted to restyle just a few of the sections with a curling wand, so I applied a bit more, focusing on the really dry spots. It really hydrated my ends and I felt good knowing I was doubling up on heat protection! Use code “SMALLTHINGS10” for 10% off your purchase at Amika.com

I used to enjoy your blog but it has turned into a big infomercial selling soooo many products. Just listing products doesn’t tell us a thing about their quality. We look at your blog for information about hair and makeup….not pushing products.
Hi Rebecca. This list is a recap of things I mention on IG stories as a reference point. If you’re interested in hearing more about them, I’d suggest following along on Instagram if you’re able!
It looks amazing! Can’t wait to try this recipe out 🙂
I am amazed and admire your ability to be a beautiful and talented woman. You are a source of inspiration to me!)Tell me how you do it?

Is the Amika hair defense serum the serum/oil that you talked about in your IG stories last week that was really “light” and helped with dryness? My hair is very fine and can’t handle heavy serum or oil.
