How was your week?! Raleigh crept into the 90s by the end of the week, and I’m talking about the temperature, not the latest trends.
While I love summer, it feels a little early to get to this level of heat, but perhaps we’re going to have a scorching summer this year.
Last weekend, on Sunday, Justin and I celebrated 13 years of marriage. We had a really lovely dinner and reflected on our wedding day, which truly feels like a couple lifetimes ago.
He wore these sunglasses in the selfie we took and people blew up my DM’s about it when I posted it.
I mentioned on Instagram Stories last week that I wanted to be able to switch from listening to my book on Audible, and also be able to physically read it, picking up at the same place I stopped at while I was listening to it. I hope that makes sense! Well, so many wonderful people told me there is a thing called WhisperSync which allows you to do JUST that! I haven’t tried it out yet but it came highly recommended so I’ll keep you posted on how it works for me.
The only thing is, I like the narrator and the accents of the characters in the book I’m reading right now, “The Paris Apartment”, so I don’t know if I’ll actually enjoy reading it as much as listening to it.
This is a very random recommendation but I’m surprised at how often I use these mesh drawstring bags for different things in life. The boys had “field day” this week at school so I filled these mesh bags with the extras they needed to bring with them!
Speaking of kids, I want to share a few of my go-to retailers for the kids, whether it’s for swimwear or school clothes.
I still shop at Primary for the basics, from bike shorts to go under Emily’s dresses, to swimsuits for the boys. Their sizes fit my kids really well, and the prices are pretty great.
I buy a lot of the boy’s clothes from J.Crew Factory. I find they last a long time and J.Crew Factory regularly has promotions and sales to make the price point on the lower end.
I’m loving this soft green raglan tee.
