We’ve had endless sunshine this week which is such a treat. The temperatures are climbing into the 80’s too! The boys are entering that time of the year where they are asking how many days are left of school until summertime. . . and I remember that feeling oh so well!

We released the butterflies that we raised this week, and it was thrilling until the moment a bird swept in a snatched one of them. It was a circle-of-life teaching moment, which was quickly quelled by the excitement of cheering on the rest of the butterflies to be free!

I’ve been listening to the audiobook of The Golden Couple by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen and only have a few hours left. There has been a slow build of the characters’ stories but I can feel it approaching a turn shortly. I’ll share a review when I’m finished!
