Madewell Picks for Spring

It was a full week for me, but a good one at that! I kicked off the work week with a video shoot. I’ve been working with Big Dog Little Bed for roughly a year now and cannot say enough wonderful things about the experience. The artistic skills and expertise of all of the women on the team are top-notch, and they each make shooting videos fun and easy. I tend to get a little nervous and stiff when other people are around when I’m on camera, but the Big Dog Little Bed team makes me feel totally at ease.

If you have video needs, they are who you want to use!

I shared a “day in the life” on Tuesday, which was fun! Tuesdays are always full days and lots of driving around town to drop off and pick up kids, and I enjoyed taking you along with me during the day. It has felt like a while since I’ve done a “day in the life” on Instagram, so it was a good reminder to get back into that practice.

Wednesday and Thursday were back-to-back meeting days, and while we got a lot accomplished, and planned out, there is always a long list of things we just don’t get to at the end of these meetings. We’re experiencing the whole “more meetings leads to more meetings”, but I’m so enjoying the collaborative effort of the workflow that my team and I are getting into.

You can read more about my team here.

And now we’re on Friday! We’ve got a few things going on this weekend, but it’s looking like Sunday will be a relaxing day with no plans. We leave for Disney World next week (!!!) and I hope you got to see the kids’ excitement when I shared the video of telling them the news on Instagram Stories.

I’m teeming with beauty products to review for you as I’ve been testing a handful of products! Get prepared for an updated wedding day DIY makeup video, a few new hair videos (that we shot this past Monday), and some easy summer style posts too.

I finished The Golden Couple by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen. I’m sad it’s over! It was a slow burn but a good read! I actually liked listening to it on Audible *except* for the male voices the narrator attempted. I’m not saying it’s easy, but I would rather have listened to a male voice than heard a women attempt a male voice for an audiobook.

And here are a few things I mentioned on Instagram Stories recently that you may have missed:

Target Tank

Cheers Restore Capsules – I took one of these before bed after a night out and felt fine on Sunday. I think they really help!

Reading Atomic Habits Book – I’m only 2 chapters in but I think I’m really going to like this book!
