How was your week?! Mine flew by.

We’re heading to Virginia this weekend for a family “Lasagna-Off” competition. This whole idea sprung out of a conversation we had around Christmas with Justin’s family. His half-brother claims to make an outstanding lasagna with chicken and pepperoni, and his sister sings the praises of her husband’s lasagna recipe as well. And then, naturally, I chime in staying my lasagna is really good too (have you made it? Make it.)

So we decided to have a Lasagna-Off. Best lasagna wins. I genuinely don’t know what the outcome will be, but I’m certain that my recipe is up against some stiff competition.

In other non-food-related news, I shared on Instagram stories that I have signed up for a 10k race in March. This is going to be extremely hard for me. I am *not* a runner. I have a personal goal in mind for the pace I’d like to run this at, so I’m training to try to get there right now.

A few other things to update you on: I’m continuing on with watching Yellowstone, even though my husband has abandoned the show. His morals are better than mine, what can I say.

I’m testing a lot of blow dry brushes right now for an upcoming youtube video where I share the pros and cons of each of them, along with a brief demo!

I’m about 4 weeks out from a trip to Florida with my mom and sister, and I cannot wait! We used to take these “girls trips” every year a long time ago, but after I started to have kids I wasn’t able to go as easily. We went to Marco Island, FL last year and we’re heading back again for this years’ trip.
