Did anyone else feel absolutely blindsided by December 1st? I can’t believe we’re in the last month of the year, but on the same note I feel like Thanksgiving was years ago already!

I can feel myself tempering my excitement about traveling back to the midwest for the holidays. All signs are pointing to the trip happening but I think we’ve all learned in the last two years that things can change swiftly!

I’m pretty close to finished with my Christmas shopping. Are you? I hope my gift guides have been helpful!

My sister’s family came over for Sunday dinner earlier this week. I made these mashed potatoes last weekend and they were fantastic! I also made this creamed corn recipe, it’s so easy in the crockpot and it was a hit as well!
