2 Eye Palettes I Can’t Quit Using

As a beauty blogger and makeup lover, I’m regularly buying and trying new products. This also means I regularly purge and clean out my vanity, but these two palettes always make the cut when I’m doing a cleanout.

Tarte Tartlette in Bloom Clay Eyeshadow Palette – Not only are the shades so easy to combine for different eye makeup looks, but it has a perfect mix of matte and shimmery finishes to give you all the options you need! My favorite combination of colors is “Flower Child” all over the lid, “Smarty Pants” in the crease, “Jet Setter” in the outer corner, and “Charmer” on the brow bone. The darker shades, like “Activist” and “Smoke Show”, are great for eyeliner if you prefer a softer finish than what you’d get with a pencil liner. Sometimes I wet my eyeliner brush when I dip it in either of these dark shades, and sometimes I don’t, but that is why they may look a bit messier than the other ones!

Urban Decay Naked2 Basics Eyeshadow Palette – It’s compact, has a handful of neutral browns that are matte, and allows you to do a daytime eye all the way to the smokiest dark eye look. The Milani Most Wanted Palette is very, very similar to Naked2 Basics and is a much more budget-friendly option.

The Essential Eye Brush Set from Sephora is a wonderful set of eyeshadow brushes that has everything you need. I love the size of these too! If you’re looking for a more budget-friendly option, try the Sonia Kashuk line at Target. And when it comes to washing your brushes, whether eye or face, I really love the ease of this brush cleaner!

That Tartelette in Bloom palette is on sale at Ulta right now for $27.30, for anyone who’s interested! I also like the original Tartelette, which is all matte and it’s on sale too!

I love and have these pallets as well, but my Tarte is matte only. Love them both so much. The BEST!
