I’ve been so excited about the outdoor furniture we ordered for around our pool and it has finally arrived! We moved into this house last year and simply moved the other furniture we had from our last house. We wanted to live here for some time in order to really figure out how we used the space and fill in any holes we needed with different pieces.

It didn’t take long for us to determine that the best, shadiest spot near the pool was where people congregated. And what was left from the prior owners was an iron table with iron chairs. It was heavy, not really our personal style, and while we did use it for dining, we also realized we needed some comfortable seating in this very spot.

I found the Torrey sectional from Pottery Barn and it looked like the perfect piece for this corner of our backyard.

And as it turns out, it is exactly the right fit for this corner. While I wish I was hosting as much as I would like to (but we’re not due to Covid-19), I can already see this spot is serving the exact purpose. Not to mention, the coffee table (similar) is the perfect size for a charcuterie tray and a few drinks so it works to eat a light meal there as well.

I ordered slipcovers that are grey with white piping, and those are expected later this month. We also have a cover to make sure the sectional stays in great shape for many years.

This was certainly a thoughtful purchase, and I’m so happy that it has already served our family and provided the perfect spot to sit while enjoying the outdoors.

I realize that investing in high-quality outdoor furniture can be a lot to stomach, and I will happily share my experience with these items after I have more time to enjoy them and form my opinions! Other than some shipping confusion and delays, the entire process was really smooth. I’m very happy with the quality of the furniture and would recommend shopping at Pottery Barn **as long as you are aware that shipping can be delayed**. The shipping for these items came right when expected, but I didn’t have that same experience with a different piece I bought from Pottery Barn.

I’ll also say, I have a furniture set from Target that looks similar, though the wicker design is a bit flatter, and has held up beautifully outdoors. This is very similar to what I have!

Do you have covers for your outdoor furniture in the winter? I just purchased some too. We live in Colorado. It snows up here. If so, where is a good place to look for covers for the outdoor furniture? Looks relaxing. Canโ€™t wait to put ours out. Oh by the way, I really enjoy your videos, beauty tips and helpful information you give. ๐Ÿ‘ You have helped me out alot. Thank you ๐Ÿ˜Š

We have covers that we use now! The more it’s covered from the elements, the longer it will last!

Lovely furniture! I highly recommend investing in good covers the furniture and put the covers on when furniture not in use. We’ve done that and our furniture lasts many years and still looks great.
