Much Loved Foundations
These photos were from a few weeks ago when we visited my parents home in South Carolina! They live near Hilton Head Island and the kids love going to the beach.
The boys ran in and out of the waves and dug a hole with my Dad, and I spent a fair amount of time using my finger to scoop handfuls of sand out of Emily’s mouth. I get being a baby and trying things one time, but she continually shoved handfuls of sand in her mouth! That has to be unpleasant!
A few other links + loves:
A love reading Ruth’s beauty blog. Her writing is light, she gets to the point, and has a good sense of humor too! She wrote a bit about her Retinol experience in case you are doing research like me!
A pretty floral dress for spring & summer, under $55!
I may have gasped when I saw all these lipsticks sliced off in order to be added to this little container, but it does make sense (especially for travel!!) if you like to have a variety of colors at your fingertips!
Are you doing anything for Cinco De Mayo? This is my favorite guacamole recipe (don’t come at me about the sour cream inclusion. . .it’s so good!!) and I love this cucumber salsa too!
Sephora is having a sale and it opened up to anyone that is a Beauty Insider Member yesterday! You can browse my favorites here, and also check out my latest tutorial here!
I hope you have a nice weekend!

Oh what a great idea …. adding sour cream to quacamole…..can’t go wrong with sour cream.
They are all three so cute and growing so fast, thanks for sharing your lives with us. Happy Friday
Sour cream in guacamole sounds yummy! Love Emily’s bathing suit! I have a little the same age, could you share where it’s from?

I know your super busy packing your house now but I was wondering if you have any suggestions as to where to stay and things to do with boys ages 5 1/2 years old and a 16 month in Hilton Head. We usually go to Charleston but we want to try Hilton Head before our oldest starts school in August. Any suggestions would be great. We are driving. We live in east TN. Thanks.
