Tips for Flying with an Infant

Can you see the resemblance? Everyone is telling me that Emily looks like Justin, and while I certainly can see it, I also see a little bit of David through her face too and David looks like me! She definitely has my nose, and also definitely has Justin’s ears. . . but other than that she really has her own look! She’s so cute.

Do you have any plans this weekend? My brother gets married tomorrow! I’ve gotten a few comments from readers saying they didn’t know I had a brother! There’s not much to say about him on a beauty blog 😉 and unfortunately his work schedule limits his travel quite a bit as well so he’s often unable to join in on family trips. I’m excited to be in Wisconsin to celebrate him and my new sister-in-law Jessica! We are spending a bit of extra time here as well and will be SAVORING the 75-80 degrees and lower humidity levels! Also savoring cheese curds because #wisconsin.

I’m not usually one for patterns but I thought this was a really pretty top!

Cute espadrilles that aren’t too high!

A cute watering can!

Summer basics for under $100!

A duvet cover is the easiest way to refresh your bedroom if you are feeling bored with it and this is such a pretty option.

A very pretty white dress.

I’ve been eyeballing this new shade of Essie’s Gel Couture nail polish because it looks like a beautiful bold pink but the description says “crimson red”?! Do you have this? Is it red or pink?

While this may not work for everyone, I can totally see how a shorter work week can lead to more productivity!

This salad looks delicious! Throw some grilled chicken on there it’s a perfect summer meal.

I want to be one of these people.

These are easily my most worn sandals of the summer. They just slide on and off so it truly couldn’t be an easier shoe when your hands are full.

I love makeup brushes and all that but I kind of had no idea what to do a fan brush. Do you know what to do with it?

I see both of you in her but for some reason Justin’s shape of face and her’s are exactly the same:) ears too! I do see David through her eyes:)

I think she looks like herself; gorgeous! As the eldest of four, none of us look alike but we all have a resemblance to one another. My daughter however, looks like she should belong to my younger brother !!!

I don’t know who Emily looks like, but one thing’s for sure, she’s a huge cutie! 😀 I hope you have a lovely weekend! 🙂

This makes me laugh since my oldest daughter looks like me. My youngest looks like my husband. And yet we get people asking all the time if the girls are twins (they are 3 years apart!) And my husband and I look NOTHING alike! But I can see the resemblances between me and my oldest, between my youngest and husband and between the girls. I think that is what you have here. I think Emily’s eyes and face shape mirror Justin’s, so that is where people are seeing it. And then other facial features will mirror someone else’s! She’s a cutie (and if we’re honest, so is Justin!) I hope you have an awesome time at the wedding and being out of this humidity NC has been treating us to! Can’t wait to see pictures.

She is precious! Your boys look so much like you, but Emily is ALL Justin! I’ve never figured out what to do with a fan brush, so I’ve decided they are useless. Enjoy your brother’s wedding!

Isn’t a fan brush used to apply highlighter on or on top of your cheekbones? I’ve seen it used that way but I certainly would t buy one just for that. And I’m sure it isn’t used by the people that highlight their noise with a huge circle on the tip that begs to disappear. I couldn’t help but say that, simply because I thought highlighting and contouring was just that, not to draw attention in a not so good way to your nose. Ok enough of my rant on that subject.
I can’t really tell who she looks like at this point. She’s precious I know that. My oldest daughter had my first grandchild July 4th and in some positions he’s in he looks like both of my daughters as babies then at other times he looks just like his dad.
Hope you have a great week end.

I see her her smile and ears in Justin’s but your eyes and maybe your nose too 💕

One time a makeup artist used a fan brush to apply just the slightest bit of blush to the apples of my cheeks. I was hooked. Now I only use a fan brush to apply powder blush. It really does give just a sheer wash of color, almost imperceptible but makes you look nice and healthy and like you got a full night’s sleep when really you only had about four hours.

I totally agree with you on Emily. I think she has her own look! I see a bit of your sister for some reason too! They also say you can dust off makeup debris *like eyeshadow fall out with a fan brush too!
