A Plaid Dress
maternity dress, non-maternity dress, booties

It’s Friday! Got any fun weekend plans? We have a few fun things on the calendar but it should otherwise be a relatively slow weekend which sounds DELIGHTFUL! On to the usual links + loves post now…

This vacuum is still one of the best purchases I’ve ever made for our home!

These cute booties have a totally doable heel.

This article: How to Keep Your Home Cleaner…Every Day, Forever.

I made this recipe recently and it was delicious! I subbed out ground chicken for sausage, though I wish I had chosen turkey sausage (I couldn’t find it!) and it was still pretty good! Next time I’ll add a few spices, and kick up the red pepper flakes if I’m using a less flavorful meat than sausage.

I got these waterproof boots to wear in NYC! I love that they keep my feet warm but they aren’t huge, heavy winter boots.

Many of you asked about the booties I was wearing on Instagram Stories recently with the tassels – I love them!

Is there a right order in which to apply skincare products? YES! This is such a helpful article.

I gave my nails a little break from gel polish and am very pleased with how strong my nails felt and how healthy they looked with just 2 coats of Essie’s Treat, Love & Color. No top or base coat required!

I love Apartment Therapy’s January Cure. I’m actually following it right now and it’s motivated me to be so much more organised! 🙂

I hope you have a great weekend, beautiful! ❤️

I am a fan of Essie’s Treat, Love & Color as well. Plus I like that they’re coming out with more color options in that line!

I have been eyeing that dress online, but the pictures Old Navy uses kind of make it look like a night gown feel to me….did you find that to be the case?

Hi Kate! You look ABSOLUTELY beautiful!! Quick question, I usually wear neutral nail colors. What do you think about black polish for a formal event? I’m 41 yrs old so I’m wondering if I’m stepping out of my realm 🙂

I’ve been following Caroline Hirons, a skincare guru based out of London. She has changed my whole outlook on skincare. Gives real reviews of products. Tells you where to spend money and where you can cut on products in your routine, based on your age. Her blog and YouTube channel are full information. And her sense of humor is like the cherry on top!

Hi Kate! So happy to hear you enjoyed my one-pot pasta recipe! It continues to be a major favorite of ours. And thanks so much for sharing it with your readers!

That floral dress you are wearing is so pretty, I think I would wear it now not being pregnant…the color and everything.

I read the comments on your NYC trip, I was so disgusted by so many people; and how they reacted. I thought your trip sounded wonderful and a nice getaway with you and your husband. Don’t let it get to you Kate, you guys rock!

Please share some pizza tips, I made a homemade pizza about two weeks ago and was going to share it on my blog BUT…I was too embarrassed on how it turned out…AWFUL! A play-doh pizza looked more appealing than what I pulled out of the oven.

I hope you have a great weekend!!!

Hi Kate, thanks for the info on the facial routine!

Have you ever done a basic post/video on the different types of makeup and how to apply them? I fail in this department of womanly knowledge. Send help.

You look cuter and cuter with every pregnancy! I love this dress and would wear it even though I am not preggers! <3

I read the NYC comments as well, since I am just now catching up on reading blog posts, and I am so disappointed by some of these women. I can't imagine how frustrating that must be for you to share a beautiful trip, and have so many criticize it! That bothers me. I loved your trip and was going to comment, but understandably, comments were closed. I wish people could just appreciate the post and then move on. Why criticize? Also, you said you weren't "feeling it" with visiting a museum. Can they not read? I went to NYC twice and never set foot into a museum, again, there's just so much to do and only so much time! I just had to say that!
