Classic Wardrobe Pieces

Working from home allows me extreme privileges in what I choose to wear. I’ll admit, I’ve worked almost an entire morning in my bathrobe. While that is completely acceptable since I work alone in my office on the 3rd floor, I generally feel like a bit of a bum when I do that. It helps my mood and productivity level to get dressed and feel a bit pulled together. . . even if my footwear is my favorite Ugg slippers.

As you know, Nordstrom is one of my favorite stores to shop at (both in store and online). I do the majority of my shopping online, so quick and FREE shipping is a huge win in my book. I found this perfect blouse online a few weeks ago and already know it will be worn to death this fall and winter. It’s one of those blouses that can be totally dressed down and casual with a vest or a utility jacket with booties. Or you can dress it up with nicer jewelry, black pants, and pumps. It’s versatile, a perfect length, and comfortable to wear.

I’m a huge fan of investing in items that I can get a lot of wear out of, while mixing and matching with what I already own. This grey color goes perfect with jeans and would also pair really nicely with a pair of army green pants too! I created a few styling options in the graphic, if you are more of a visual person like I am!

For items that are hand wash and line dry, do you have time to do this? If not, what do you do to clean & dry?

I line dry almost all of my clothes, even those that are okay to go in the dryer Then, when they are fully dry and not made of linen or a shrinking material, I’ll toss them in the dryer with a wet wash cloth.

Cute on you, but have you washed and ironed it yet? Let me know if there is a trick to getting it unwrinkled easily.

I love that blouse! I feel like Ilit’s so important to have good staples that can be worn with most of the things in ones closet – it makes getting ready so much faster and packing easier too! Happy Monday! xxAllie http://www.theallthatglittersblog.com

Cute blouse! I work in radio and it’s pretty relaxed to a point here. I can wear jeans but I usually pair them up with flats, heels or boots.

I have this too and while I love the style, fit and length, I feel obligated to say it wrinkles very easily. Iā€™m wrinkled before I even get to my desk in the morning because of my seatbelt…
