beauty gifts

Are we ready to talk about gifting yet? YES OKAY!

Beauty gifts can be kinda hard to give because you don’t want to give your friend eye cream, for example, and say “because you look really tired”. But! If you have friends that appreciate beauty products, I picked a few fool proof gifts to give them!

The Slip pillowcase, pictured above, maybe wouldn’t technically fall into the beauty category, but I found it in the beauty spot at Nordstrom and can’t wait to give it a try. I have an existing satin pillow case but it doesn’t stay on the pillow nicely. And it looks pretty rough despite being washed and cared for the right way.

If you’ve smelled a Voluspa candle before, you know they don’t skimp on potency, but this Bourbon Vanille is actually the most lovely soft scent! I get headaches easily, so this candle can be burned for a long time without becoming over powering. I threw a small Nest candle option in the round up below because it’s the easiest thing to add into a gift to round it out nicely.

I hope this gives you a few ideas as we approach the gifting season!

Great list! I already feel so behind on my shopping since I haven’t planned anything at all! This is a great list to help me get a jump on thins 🙂

I’ve been wanting to try a silk pillow case ever since you said it improves “bed head”, but I just haven’t gotten around to it. These ideas sound great!

Super cute gift ideas! I love stuff like this to give to my sister-in-laws, as it’s inexpensive but still really nice. I can add some of these to ideas I already have for them.

Caudalie products are so great! I like to splurge on them for myself during the holiday’s when they have sets on sale.

Some of these are things I’ve been considering gifting as well – the Sugar lip treatment, and the Philosophy gift set. Great idea with the pillowcase, that’s the kind of thing most people would love, but never think to ask for! 🙂

Confession: I almost bought that fresh Sugar lip trio for myself. It’s super hard to buy Christmas gifts because I just want everything for myself 🙂

Do I remember you talking about that Laura Mercier duo last year? I’ve been dying to try it since!

I’m doing a couple gift guides by price over at ryneco.wordpress.com

I actually love receiving beauty gifts but am unsure whether other people like getting them too!
