Light posting this week, sorry about that! It was one of those weeks I guess, it sort of slipped away from me in a sense, which was completely unexpected!
Anyway, happy friday to you! Have any plans for the weekend? I’ve got a few play dates set up and I’m going to see how it goes to drop both boys off in the childcare center of my gym at some point this weekend so I can work out. David has been before, and has an absolute blast, but this will be Luke’s first time. Wish me luck. Well, wish them luck!

I was **this** close to buying this last weekend, but I couldn’t cheat on my bite beauty lip mask so I passed. Have you tried the Fresh lip balm? What do you think?
My sister visited this week, right after Kacia left, so it was two very important people back to back under my roof! I made them both Pioneer Woman’s Chicken Taco Salad because it’s basically all I eat these days.
Snapchat. I feel like it may stick around. At first I wasn’t sure if it was just a blip on the radar like Vine, but I actually quite like seeing the unedited and random “behind the scenes” of people I follow.
I love how simple this is, I’m going to try it soon and report back, I know you are on the edge of your seat.

I love Fresh Lip Balm. I hate having lip stuff on because it usually feels so heavy. But this just feels nice and light on my lips, so I will actually wear it.

Love you blog, just that simple. Also I love Fresh Sugar lip treatments, so nourishing and have spf which is essential when your rushing around with toddlers. I was a fan of the Bite lip mask but I prefer the Sugar now!! Thanks Kate x
I can’t get enough of the Fresh Sugar lip balms (Cherry, Coral and Pink) so I will be interested to see what the verdict is on the lip treatment. Personally, I put some plain Vaseline on my lips at bedtime and that keeps them soft. If it isn’t working, I’m clearly dehydrated.
Not a fan of the Fresh lip balm. I have 2-3 and they all have a Pledge-taste to them. Not a fan.

I lOVE Fresh lip balms. I use mine every day. It goes on nicely, keeps my lips ultra soft, goes with *almost* every outfit, and (the best part!) you don’t need a mirror to apply it. Great for a quick refresh after coffee/lunch during the day. And since we have the same complexion (fair skin & blue eyes), I recommend you try the Rosé tint. 🙂

I too am not a fan of the fress lip balm. Can’t wait to see your haircut post. I recently chopped my own off! Haha. I am going on a date with my husband tonight for the first time since my 3 1/2 month old was born, so excited and can’t wait!

Definitely try Sugar Lip Treatments, the deliver great color or tint, and feel really light and airy on your lips. The SPF is just a super plus! I would keep in mind, it’s like a lip balm, not very lasting if you eat and easy transfer onto anything lips touch.
Kate, can you give some information on teasing? Like, how damaging is it to the hair? Is it okay to use a finishing spray (such as redken’s quick tease) directly on the teasing? And, my biggest question, how do you get it out of your hair?! I love the volume it gives, but I struggle with hair damage and don’t want to overdo it.

I used the Redken Tease and so far no damage. The Kenra 25 Volume hair spray seems to be drying my hair out lately, though.
I love Fresh lip balms! Hydrating and feels super smooth on your lips with a hint of color. Can you tell me which you braid you did in your hair in your last “links and Loves” post??
