Seaweed and Sunshine
This was my view yesterday. Yes the woman next to Justin is holding a cd player. Remember those? Remember when your favorite cd would get dirty and you had to figure out how to clean it? Someone told me once to drop it in the toilet and flush. Magically it worked almost every time. It’s disgusting, but at least I could continue rocking out to Mariah Carey.
My husband, David and I flew up north to spend a little time with my side of the family. This was David’s 3rd flight, and he did pretty darn well.
Justin and I took turns holding him while standing in the back of the plane, and he finally dozed off on Justin’s shoulder about 20 minutes prior to landing.
Despite skipping his afternoon nap altogether, he was in a pretty cheerful mood and was easy to travel with.
David and I have flown alone a few times, and a few times my parents have accompanied us, so it was great to have Justin there to help!
We are spending a few days with my family at our lake house, and I’m really excited to be here. June ended up being pretty busy, so this little break is much appreciated.
Given that, and the fact that it’s a holiday weekend here in the states, I’m going to check out from the blog until Monday.
Have a great weekend + 4th of July!
