We just moved from Alabama, where we had 1/4″ of snow every 5 years, to Colorado and everyone warned me that we were going to get SO MUCH SNOW. And guess what. We’ve had basically no snow and I’m so disappointed!
I don’t want a ton of snow but every once in awhile would be nice. The ear warmer would come in handy though because the wind is awful here!
Mild winter…please 🙂

Well, living in Maine, I would MUCH rather have a mild winter with barely any snow!!!!
Thanks! Heather Tracy [email protected]
1. I used to live in the mountains, and I would dream of a winter with no snow. Now I live in the South, and miss the snow! (go figure!) so I think my answer is I would like a little of both. I would love to experience a white Christmas, and then the snow can go away and be mild again. A girl can dream, right? Love this ear warmer!!!

I don’t want snow…or ice. Mild please.

Don’t tell my snow loving son I said this, but mild winters with little to no white stuff are what I prefer.
I live in Iowa so snow is a given, I’d rather not have it though. Mild would be right up my alley!!

[email protected]
I would prefer a mild winter w/barely any snow – but that’s a big request when you live in Fargo!
[email protected]
I would like both. I like the spurts of snow followed by milder weather. I do not like the constant cold and snow. I like it when it is all mixed up.

I would love love love to have a cold winter with tons of snow! Although cleaning my car off, and trudging through the snowy city of Pittsburgh can be a hassle sometimes, I think this city is at its finest when it’s covered in snow! 🙂 Pittsburgh has a lot of gloomy and rainy weather throughout the year – we’ve even had some days like that in December and January this winter – and when the snow covers the ground it not only gives everyone a new perspective of their day, but a new perspective on the city also. It’s simply stunning.

I would much rather have a mild winter! I live in Indiana and at times we have lots of snow…when we do, I wish I was somewhere tropical 🙂 Here where I live, we always say “ya never know Indiana weather…one day it can be 55 and sunny and the next day there may be a foot of snow!” Very unpredictable!!

A mild winter is good for me while I learn to enjoy running all year round. This is my first go at training for a half-marathon so I’m enjoying the snow-free days. I don’t mind cold temperatures just no snow please.

I’m all for a mild winter!

I’m not sure about which winter I’d like! It’s been weirdly warm for January in Ohio, but I’m not complaining! I do like some snow though– just not ice!

I have been looking for a headband for winter and when I saw this one I decided that I had to have it. Even better if I could win it!
I am from Canada and we usually have very cold winter’s but this year is milder and I’m loving it. I’ll take mild with not much snow. We are only about 3 or 4 hours away from the mountains so we can always drive there if we want lots of snow.

I am digging the super mild winter we are having in Texas! These 75 degree days can stick around!
[email protected]
I was born and raised in california, so needless to say I am a sun, sand and ocean kind of girl. I moved to a small town outside of reno where it snows. We dont get alot of snow but we do get it. My kids and my husbadnd love love love the snow and are snowboarding addicts. I didnt realize I loved and needed the snow until this year when we didnt have a white christmas and this last weekend was our first snow fall and today it is all gone. I have been sad and kind of depressed and when i woke up to see the snow it was so pretty and it gave me a huge smile. Last year we had our first snow storm that actually closed down the schools and I am hoping for more snow storms like that this year. I am going to call in sick to work and cuddle in a blanket on the couch and watch a movie or read a good book while its snowing. All while my husband and kids chomp at the bit to go snowboarding. Up until this past weekend we havent had snow or rain and I think if im going to freeze my you know what off there needs to be a reason- bring on the snow!! [email protected]
I would LOVE to win this! I live in Minne-SNOW-ta, but this season we’ve had barely a week of snowy days and I love it…although I did miss it at Christmas!
I would much rather have a mild winter, with some snow, but not a ton. Although this year, some snow would be nice!

Hey Kate,
first can I tell you that I am so jealous of your name, when I was little and me and my friends would play house I would pretened my name was Kate..haha! But, I also live in North Carolina, near Charlotte!! But, since we don’t always get that much snow I would rather have a cold winter with a lot of snow just because I think it is so beautiful, it really accents everything that God has created when it is covered in white! 🙂
I also just became a fan, and I love all of your hair videos!!
xoxo, Alaina [email protected]
I would rather have a mild winter with barely any snow! I have many reasons that I am not a huge fan of winter but my top three are, 1. I strongly dislike driving in the snow, 2. Ice is not good for the uncoordinated…and that’s me haha and 3. I feel like I can’t wear any cute shoes in the snow!

[email protected]
We live way down in South Texas where it never snows. It’s hot and humid all the time. So anytime it drops below 45 degrees, we think we’re going to freeze to death. I would love to visit somewhere that it snows. I think these ear warmer would be so cute and warm for the times it does get cold here.
If I had to choose, it would be a mild winter.
[email protected]
I have been loving our winter this year… mild with bits and pieces of cold. We still haven’t had much of a snow, and I’m ok with that! I’m originally from the San Francisco bay area, so I’m loving my Cali-like weather!

Honestly, at this point we have had a very abnormally mild winter. Basically what that means for us is it’s very MUDDY. We’re getting the same amount of precipitation, but instead of it being snow it’s been rain, creating mud like we usually just have in the spring. I probably would have used to say I’d rather have a mild winter, but right now, I keep finding myself wanting the temps to drop so that we’ll have snow instead of mud.
I have lived in the foothills OF NC all my life and absolutely love when it snows…..ALOT!!! So to answer the question I would rather have a cold weather with tons of snow. I love to go sledding and tubing.
[email protected]
Being from Tennessee, we truly never get a lot of snow but we get ICE! As a school teacher and enjoying “snow days”I would MUCH rather have a BAD winter with lots and lots of snow. I absolutely adore spending my snow days with a hot pot of soup in the crock pot and my puppies cuddled up close by! 🙂

After living in Alaska for 4 years and 7 years in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, I prefer my very mild Florida winters. Here we have lows in the 60s and that is considered cold! No more snow for me! YAY
Cheers! ~Leigh

I would prefer mild snow. I live in utah so, it’s very random. Now that I have 2 little ones, I realize what a pain it is to even go to the grocery store with sopping wet clothes, coats, shoes, etc. My Isabelle loves to play in the snow, however, but just a little bit of it is just fine. [email protected]
Bring on the snow! I have lived in places, for the last 4 years, that are very mild to super sunny and hot during winter. And it’s not just the snow I love…it’s the super cute sweaters and boots that also come with winter! 🙂 elizabethharrison07 at gmail dot com

I would much rather have a mild winter. I love nothing more than wearing sweaters with shorts!!! amysalotti at gmail dot com.
I live in Arkansas and we always say “If you don’t like the weather right now, just wait 5 minutes and it will change again!” Which is SO true! However, when it comes to winter time, I prefer a mild winter with one good stay-home-for-a-day (or two) snow storm. We are due for our snow, which usually comes in late January, early February. The super cute knitted ear warmer would be perfect for when the snow does come! Even better will be when it’s football season again and the wind is making my ears chilly, just pull out the ear warmer and voila!

I would rather have a cold winter with tons of snow. We had a great winter last year and the year before when my daughter was a baby, but now that she’s old enough to enjoy it, it has only snowed once and maybe an inch or two. Plus, I think the snow makes things look pretty and quiet. Driving is the only problem, but it’s a good reason to stay in and have family time. E-mail: [email protected]

I would rather have a mild winter with very little snow! I’m more of a summer person 🙂

I would much rather have a mild winter. I’m a North Carolina girl born and raised, and I would be fine if it was between about 60 and 80 degrees all year. Cold enough for cute scarves and jackets in the winter and warm enough for flirty dresses in the summer. I’m totally fine with having to travel somewhere for snow and hot heat!

Coming from MInnesota, Ive had 22 years of colllllld, snowy winters! I could definitly go for a mild winter with ZERO snow just one time even!! Shoveling is NOT fun!! =)

I would much rather have a mild winter. I’m a North Carolina girl born and raised, and I would be completely content if the high temperature was between about 60 and 80 degrees all year — cold enough for cute scarves and coats in the summer and warm enough for flirty dresses in the winter. I’m fine with having to travel to see snow or hot heat — built in vacays!

I’d rather have 85 degrees and sunny BUT if I had to choose, I’d like a very cold day with lots of snow. Now, this is of course only if it’s a Saturday or Sunday and I dont have to drive my 33 miles to work because in Memphis when it snows, people become real dumb on the roads. 🙂
Would rather have a mild winter with no snow!
[email protected]
Love this giveaway, that earwarmer is adorable!! I would prefer to have just a little snow, mostly because of traffic issues trying to get to work each day.
Before Christmas, I prefer a cold winter with a lot of snow. After Christmas, I prefer a milder winter with barely any snow. [email protected]

MILD WINTERS are SO much better!! Too much snow hurts my bones! And here in the south our road crews aren’t equipped to handle it.
I’m from Nebraska, where one day it’s snowing and 10 degrees, and two days later it’s 50 (this just happened 2 weeks ago..) so a mild winter would be nice! One good snowfall is fun though, but only if we get off work for it! 🙂
I want a snow filled winter! LOVE, LOVE, LOVE SNOW!!! (as long as the power stays on!! Hehe)

Personal if I could pick just one it would be to have a Mild Winter with very little snow, however for just one week we can Lots of snow that must immediately melt that would be perfect. Whether or not it could ever occur slim to none. In the part of NC that I am in we have not had a drop yet and it will be February in a week. Happy Tuesday 🙂

Hi Kate!
I would rather have a cold winter with tons of snow! I grew up in Montana and now live in Portland, OR – I miss the snow SO much! This year, I went home to Montana for Christmas, for the first time in 10 years – I was so very excited to have a white Christmas! But…it didn’t snow once while I was there! ;-( What a crazy winter it’s been.
If it’s going to be bitterly cold, it better snow! If not, bring on the mild weather!! [email protected]

I love the snow if I don’t have to drive! Otherwise I’d prefer the mild winter with not much snow. 🙂
[email protected]
I like a short(1-2 month winter), snowy winter. It’s even better if it is during Christmas. I enjoy letting my kids romp in the snow, but only for a couple of months and then I’m ready for spring!
We normally have pretty cold winters here (OHIO) but we’ve been lucky so far. Since I have 2 kiddos, we have a lot of fun playing in the snow. I guess I would have to say cold winter with LOTS of snow 🙂
I love lots of snow if I don’t have to drive. Hate winter driving! I debated buying one of the earwarmers just this past weekend- let’s hope I can win one! :)Bri

That’s such a tough question! On one hand I love this mild winter- no digging out my car, no shoveling, no freezing everytime I step outside. But there is nothing like the magic of a big snowfall. How everything looks more beautiful under the cover of snow. This one is a draw for me!

I am a born and bred Minnesota girl and we finally just got snow. But I was rather enjoying our mild winter and no snow. So with all the snow I need a cute ear warmer.

I live in Utah so we’ve so far been having the cold with little snow. I love snow so I would love it if it matched our cold. I won’t be satisfied until I have 12″ in my yard. And a beautiful knit earwarmer would be good karma to get us this snow. 🙂

It totally depends on where I’m living at the time. I’ve I’m living in a place with mountains, I would prefer cold with tons of snow so I can ski. If I’m a place without mountains, I would choose mild with little snow. Winter is uglier without a lot of snow, but if there are no mountains I can accept the ugliness!

I would rather have a very cold winter with lots of snow. I used to hate snow up until last year, and then I learned to really appreciate it! I’m sad that it hasn’t been snowing up until recently!
I think I would rather have a mild winter, even though I would love to see snow once in a while. I’m from Florida so I don’t get a chance to see snow at ALL. Thanks for the chance to win! [email protected] (Karina)

A cold winter with lots of snow! I live in Utah and we finally have snow on the ground that has lasted more than a day. Usually by this time of year we have a few feet. I don’t like winter with no snow. [email protected]
I just became a fan of Three Bird Nest. There are a few things I’m thinking of ordering!
[email protected]
I would much prefer a cold, harsh winter with a TON of snow! I love dressing in layers and I would much rather be really cold if I had to be cold at all! That in-between stuff is no fun (which is exactly the way it is, here in Kentucky!) Plus, I love the snow, and school days 🙂
I became a fan 🙂
[email protected]
I definitely prefer a mild winter! Not a big fan of the cold or snow!
[email protected]
I love winter only because of the snow … well, and it’s my birthday in November! I live in Edmonton, Alberta so our winters are usually very frigid – I’m talking -30 to -40 and colder with the wind chill. This year we have had an unusually warm winter so I’ve been missing the huge snowfalls. A headband from Three Bird Nest would be wonderful for our winters though!

I would much rather have a mild winter. I live in MN so our seasons are not what they should be. We have extremely long winters and short, mild summers. In my mind it should be vice versa! I have had snowy winters for 26 years of my life, and am loving that we have barely had any this year =)

We have had a really odd winter in MN this year… no snow, 40˚+ days into January and then winter finally arrived last week with lots of snow and cold temps! I am loving the snow, but am wishing for the warmer days of Spring so my toddler and I can get outside without spending 20 minutes bundling up! However, we would not appreciate the warmth of spring without the cold and snow of winter. So I vote for a cold and snowy winter!

I would much rather have a cold winter with a lot of snow. Snow means snowball fights, snowmen, sledding, skiing, skating and many other outdoor activities. It also means more family time inside drinking hot cocoa and playing games, time to create and cook. AND….it means lots of moisture in the spring to turn God’s creation green and to make the early spring flowers spring to life! I love snow! [email protected]

Cold winter with lots of snow!! Why you ask, well, because it is good for everybody! The kiddos love to play in it, the skiers love to swish down the mountain, the farmers love it for their crops and the rafters dig the wicked rapids in the summer. And lastly, the mommas love to watch it slowly drift down while holding a hot cup of tea enjoying God’s amazing creation!

I live in California and have always had more mild winters, but I love the snow and have always wanted to live somewhere I could have a “white Christmas.” It would make the cold worth it, I think 🙂

I would like to have a mild winter with little snow. I like it to be just cold enough to wear hats and scarves.

Definitely a mild winter! I hate driving in snow and ice, even though I do get snow days since I work at a community college.
And I am a fan of the the Three Bird Nest on Facebook!

Hi Kate! I would much rather have a mild winter with less snow. That’s only because I am from Ohio so usually we have very cold and snowy winters. So far this year it has been pretty mild and I’m loving it! However, Christmas is always my exception to having a snowy day! 🙂

There is not much snow where I live in NC, so I would love to have (maybe only one)a winter with LOTS of snow. When it snows, i immediatly turn into an eight year old. I get that warm, excited feeling that I am going to be out of school, sledding, snow cream. I love this blog…thanks!!

In a perfect world there would be beaches and sun everywhere! I like a light dusting of snow, but without the freezing cold. I’m from Minnesota so all I get is freezing cold and feet upon feet of snow! … super cute head gear would make it totally bearable 🙂

I want to have the snowiest winter ever! More time for skiing with my busy schedule (and i love hot chocolate by the fire)!

I would love to have a cold winter with tons of snow since I like to ski!!

I don’t live where it snows so it would be fun to have one white out winter. My kids have been anxious for my husband and I to take them to the snow to play. I love the question, its just another sign to me that we need to take them:)

I would rather have a mild winter. Lots of snow is usually not an option in Knoxville. I would love snow if it would stay for more than a minute. I love, love, love the headband.
