The Designers Downtown Market
Marcel
Well the November 19th Designers Downtown Market is over. And it was a success! Here are the reasons why:
1. It started off cold but warmed up to a nice 60 degrees. The sun helped too.
2. Kelly, my sis-in-law, was there to help. She has been at every market and we couldn’t have done it without her. We nicknamed her “the law” since she was always good at keeping an eye on everything. You never know if someone is going to snatch a pair of earrings as they walk by! Thankfully, that has never happened to us at any market. 🙂
3. My sis Lauren and I created our favorite “set up” to date. It fit both of us perfectly!
4. We got to meet some of our blog followers! THANK YOU for coming out to support us!
I’ll let the photos do the rest of the talking:
We chalkboard painted this window!
The starbucks coffee was not for sale, but it was necessary for a 7:30a set up!
Lauren purchased some cute laterns to hang in our tent! And there’s Kelly!
I love her!
This jewelry making journey has been so fun to do with her. We mesh our ideas together well, and really enjoy this little business we started.
Thanks again, whether you purchase online or came to see us at the market!

I love your jacket! Where is it from?
@Ally: from Banana Republic Outlet!
How much fun!! Your booth looks great and you two are adorable!
I SO wanted to stop by as we had two exhausted children leaving the parade yesterday. Glad it was a success!
I just love how you set up everything, really nice.
Esther.
Kate! Looks great! I tried to come, but ended up searching for a parking spot for 1/2 hour and then just gave up and left disappointed!- I guess there was a parade going on too? Anyway, hope the day was a success!!!
It looks awesome! I love the sign you made! You girls are beautiful!
Everything looks so great. You guys had so much! Now, I know why you weren’t taking custom orders. We, who shop Elisabeth Ashlie, love your jewelry, hair accessories, and decor, and appreciate your hard work! I am going to go back to shopping your Etsy shop now :). Glad it was a success!
What a cute little pop up shop! I love the chalkboard painted window.
i love the embroidery hoop displays!!!
Kate, I have searched your blog for a tutorial on curling your hair with a flat iron. I can’t find it. Am I crazy? I thought I remembered you doing one.
Your set up is so cute! The banner your sister made adds the perfect touch. I can’t wait to see what you have left to put in your shop! Headbands for me pleeease. 🙂
Your photos are super cute! What app do you use to take them?
Looks like you had a great time – I love your pieces!
Your set up looks just as adorable as you ladies!
Question: Will you be putting any “extra” items that you did not sell on your Etsy shop? I am a fan of yours from Georgia & couldn’t make it to the market, but would love to peruse & shop some of the items that I am seeing here!
@Allysn: we’ll be posting more items this week!
I love that necklace made with the gears. Do you still have that? I couldn’t find it in your online shop.
What does “Elisabeth Ashlie” stand for? Just curious!
