10 Great Questions to Ask on a Road Trip

What’s In My Makeup Bag

Justin and I love the quiet time together in the car when we drive back and forth from my parent’s house in South Carolina. We’ll either keep it light and funny or use that time to talk about more serious things.

If you are traveling soon, here are a few thought-provoking fun and serious questions to ask your significant other.

10 Questions for Couples

One. If you could repeat any vacation from any time of your life, which would you choose to repeat?

Two. What is one thing you discovered about me after we got married that you love or appreciate?

Three. What did you think you wanted to be when you were a kid?

Four. Is there anything you feel competitive with me about?

Five. Is there a book you could read over and over again? (Or, is there a movie you could watch over and over again?)

Six. If you were a guest on a talk show, what would you want to talk about?

Seven. If you could choose one restaurant to deliver lunch or dinner every day for a month, which would you choose?

Eight. What does your ideal weekend look like?

Nine. What personality trait of yours do you hope that the kids* get?

Ten. How would you describe me in three words?

*or future children.

I feel like I’ve really learned more about Justin on our road trips, with sleeping kids in the back seats, than anywhere else. There aren’t really any distractions, and it’s a quiet place without anyone else listening to our answers. It truly is some of my favorite times with him!

Love this! I’m in the car right now and going to try it out. We have two small kids, so we cherish the “quiet” time on road trips to get some good conversation time in.
Thanks!
