Did I get my brows done, or did I finally learn how to fill them?!

It took me way too long to think of an honest title that conveyed what this post would be about! Options included:

“I finally learned how to actually do my brows.”

“I was hoping for this exact lesson from Andreea and I got it.”

The point here is to tell you that when Andreea did my makeup, I was SO excited to see how she did my brows. I’ve watched tutorial after tutorial, but for some reason never really felt confident in my ability to really shape them. I wanted to have a professional show me, and that’s exactly what happened!

While the brows Andreea gave me on the day she did my makeup were a bit dramatic for my everyday life and makeup routine, it was so dang helpful to watch her map out where to start, finish, and where the arch should be. And again, while they felt dramatic to me, I thought they looked amazing.

I practiced and finally felt like I could achieve a version that I felt confident about, and I swear every single time I hop on Instagram, someone would ask me if I got my eyebrows microbladed! I took that as a compliment as typically microbladed eyebrows look natural and fit one’s face really well. I’m open to it, but wouldn’t do it while pregnant.

I wanted to share the products I’ve been using here, along with a few quick photos, and also share Andreea’s video where she explains how to fill in your brows.

The products I used on my brows are this brow powder and this pencil, both in taupe. I use this angled brush with a spoolie to apply the powder. I’ve used plenty of other great products over the years but these are what I’ve been using lately, and they’re working perfectly!

You can watch the video here to see how Andreea did mine during the shoot!

Your brows look amazing! I love how they look full but still natural. It’s such a great feeling when you finally master a makeup look that you’ve been trying to achieve for a while isn’t it?! xAllie http://www.theallthatglittersblog.com

So you don’t use the brow tint? I’ve got VERY strawberry blonde eyebrows (natural redhead) and so when I fill my eyebrows I worry it looks strange because the hairs are so much lighter. Should I just not worry about it? Or would the tint be a good idea?

Your eyebrows looks amazing! I have super thick eyebrows that grow extremely quickly so there is no need to fill them in!

You always look so natural and beautiful. After your baby’s birth, consider microblading. I finally took the plunge and it is amazing to wake up with eyebrows! It shaves time off my routine and I love how natural they look. Make sure that you find a very skilled artist to do them. I also recommend pencilling in how you like them so the artist knows exactly what you want. My artist blended several colors to get just the right look and I’m so pleased.

Yay! Great eyebrows. Thank you for sharing these videos and thanks for the service you provide to all of us out here with your helpful tutorials and product recommendations! I over plucked my eyebrows in the 90s but at least I can now give them a decent shape with a pencil and powder.

Should the brow pencil and brow powder from Anastasia be the same color?

I’m curious (because my brows are similar to yours and I never really know what to do with them) how long it takes you on average now just on your brows? Has it added to your everyday makeup time? Do you do your brows everyday like this?

Could you do a video where you are doing your eyebrows instead of her? I don’t have time to spend over 10min on my eyebrows. I feel like your process is way faster and I love how you do your brows instead of her.

Kate- Which brow and pencil are you using? Love the results-the link just takes me to a generic Sephora page and doesn’t show the product:-)
