How to Apply False Lashes

Falsies. Some people wear these on the daily, others have never tried ’em. They can dramatically change your look, or just kick your lashes up a notch or two.

I’ll be honest: I cannot imagine wearing false lashes on the daily. Nothing against it, it’s just too much drama for my day to day lifestyle. I’ve got a 2 year old after all. . .but, they are totally fun to wear in order to glam up an evening out!

I filmed a brief tutorial to run though my steps of applying them. I’m using Artemes lashes, which were kindly sent to me as a gift without any strings attached, and I loved how light they felt after I put them on. Don’t get me wrong, I felt like I was wearing lashes, but they didn’t feel heavy.

The Artemes Lashes I’m wearing are “A Fine Line”. These aren’t a one and done kind of lash either. Artemes says they will stay intact and full for up to 25 wears. The also recommend Duo glue for lash glue, as they do not sell it with the lashes.

Ok, got how to put them on. What about removing them???

Just pee them off. Makeup remover will remove any glue residue on the eyelid.

This just made me laugh so hard 🙂 Like literal tears. I know it was unintentional, but you have no idea how much I needed that today!

I always struggle with lashes, and only wear them on very special occasions. But these look semi-natural and I would love to try them for a date night or something.

Thanks for the tips and for the tutorial! Lashes have always been tricky for me to apply.

So… am I the only one who thinks the left eye looks “off”? Like the strip is coming up on the inner edge of your eye? What happened??

No, I was thinking the same thing.

This is an awesome tutorial! I love wearing falsies occasionally, as well. Another great tip is to wait about 30 seconds after applying your glue to attach the lashes to your lid. The glue will stick better, and the lashes won’t slide around as much while you’re giving them that final positioning-wiggle. They look great on you!! ?

The website says that “A fine line” are lower lashes. Does this mean they can be used on the upper lash line as well?

Those look really natural! I had super sparse, short lashes so this is tempting.

I love the grey and blush toned items that you chose to wear during your London excursion.
