My Gallery Wall

I’ve been slowly collecting prints for my gallery wall since this past Christmas. I envisioned a “kitchen themed” wall to hang by our dining room table, but as I searched I realized there were too many great prints to be locked into a specific theme. So I added variety in an effort to make sure it doesn’t look too “match-y”.

Let me tell you the story of how I found these, because it was quite the process

The first print that I received was the Kitchen Conversions print from Sweet Fine Day. It was a Christmas gift from my sister. I was dying to hang it up immediately, but I needed to wait until I had the correct frame (it fits best in an Ikea frame).
I finally made my way out to Ikea in the spring and picked up all the frames you see on this wall. I also bought the two shelves that some of the frames sit on from Ikea.
And that’s when I wanted to make this a gallery wall for our new place.

I shopped around a bit at stores like Michaels, World Market, and Target, but I couldn’t find what I was looking for.
So I turned to Etsy. . .and Pinterest. . .and a few other random places. . .

And the gallery wall was created.
I wish my chandelier wasn’t in the way!

So let’s break it down:

And a few more photos just to show off their beauty. . .

It’s so hard to pick just one… I found three that I like (just be you, this will be the best day ever, and home sweet home). I think I would pick the “just be you” I’ve been on a self-mantra kick lately.

  18. says

So charming. I love when you add home stuff to this blog. I know you mostly do hair and stuff, but it’s nice to look in your home and see the charming stuff. :)

I really like so many but I think one of my faves is the “Today will be the best day ever!” sign

I love the Confetti Heart and Confetti “Hello Life” prints. I like the Neon Chevron Arrows, Grateful Heart and “Today Is The Day” prints too! I’ll definitely be returning to her shop! Ha! :)

    Hi there!

This doesn’t have to do with the give away, but I was wondering if you could show how you blow dry your hair. After I blow dry, my wavy hair is EVERYWHERE. I don’t know if this is something that just happens with wavy hair or if there’s a special way to blow dry?

  22. says

If I were to win I’d probably pick the print of the arrows to hang in my son’s room. His name is Archer so an arrow print would be perfect!

  23. says

Your gallery wall looks great! I have that same ampersand print and I love it! But, then again, I’m rather obsessed with ampersands. I’m sooo close to finishing my own art wall over my desk and this post has inspired me to just get it done! I’ll probably write a post about it on my blog next week.

  24. Becky says

I love the “LOVE” print, as well as the “You Are My Happily Ever After” print. Either one of these would look cute in my and my husband’s bedroom!

  25. says

  28. says

Omg love her stuff. So many I couldn’t pick a fav but I am loving the preppy dorm room and her nautical/anchor art. And the kinder than necessary <3 ….silly, honest, kind….I can go on and on.

  29. says

Beautiful and unique prints! I love the “If you cannot think well…” print. The simplicity of a great saying in black and white is unbeatable!

  30. says

I love the print you have but I also love the one about having adventures together, because my husband and I always reminisce about our adventures. Tough decision…or I’d just get both. 😉 Pinning your photos as well!!

  31. says

I love the Dine Well one!! But also think the Tomato soup/grilled cheese print is perfect too! My niece came home from her first day of summer band wanting that meal!

  32. says

This one really hit home today. “She decided to start living the life she imagined”. I recently left my job because I was just miserable. I have been worried about how to support my family and be happy at the same time. It’s taken a couple of months, but I applied for Cosmetology school today. I’m in my 30s and making a big jump, but I know this will be a fun, ever-changing new lifestyle. I can’t wait to begin.

  33. says

I love the Lime, Lilac and Aqua, “Whatever you are, be a good one”. I love your gallery wall. I’m trying to collect prints and pictures for mine :)

  34. Allison says

I love the “Be pretty if you can, be witty if you must….” print. Actually, I like 95% of her prints, haha…

The Amanda Catherine Designs piece that I like the most is the “I’m so glad you are here” print. It will be perfect for our guest room makeover & a great reminder to your guests how much we love them.

  36. says

What a great wall! I especially love the birds. I have a similar wall in my living room (minus the shelves) comprised of travel photos that I enlarged and put in various sizes and finishes of Ikea frames.

  37. says

All the prints are lovely! I’m a huge fan of text-based art :) My favorite is the “Today is the Day” poster…so many pretty colors and a great reminder to live each day!
