We just moved from Alabama, where we had 1/4″ of snow every 5 years, to Colorado and everyone warned me that we were going to get SO MUCH SNOW. And guess what. We’ve had basically no snow and I’m so disappointed!

I don’t want a ton of snow but every once in awhile would be nice. The ear warmer would come in handy though because the wind is awful here!

  2. says

    1. I used to live in the mountains, and I would dream of a winter with no snow. Now I live in the South, and miss the snow! (go figure!) so I think my answer is I would like a little of both. I would love to experience a white Christmas, and then the snow can go away and be mild again. A girl can dream, right? Love this ear warmer!!!

I would love to have tons of snow!!! i am originally from louisiana so it doesn’t snow much there!!! Fortunately, we are military so we get to travel a lot and see lots of snow!!!

I live in Kentucky, and we usually have snow. However, this year we have had warm temperatures and tornados! So, while I never thought I’d say this, I want SNOW!!!

  5. says

I like my snow but the ice can just move on over Oklahoma. It has been a mild winter so only a little dusting so far. Bought my girls some cute ear warmers for Christmas but not for myself. So would just love to win one of my very own.

  6. Breanna says

I don’t mind the snow, I just hate the ice! I live in Kentucky, and there are so many drivers (like myself!) that are just so uncomfortable driving on the stuff. Love that ear warmer, and my favorite & most-worn color is gray, also!

definitely a mild winter with no snow… i’m a southern girl to the core. although my little ones loved to play in the snow (that one time it actually really came down and stuck) so a guess some snow wouldn’t be all that bad… but i loathe the cold… hmmm… (lol)

I am from Arkansas, and we have barely had winter at all this year. The jonquils are even starting to bloom on the roadsides! I prefer at least one good snow (specifically on a school day so we can get out of school!). I hope it snows at least once this year…sarabrownlee@hotmail.com.

I’d rather have a mild winter with barely any snow. I live in Oregon and we don’t usually get much snow. When we do, even if it’s only a bit, everything shuts down, and I don’t like being trapped at home!

I would love love love to have a cold winter with tons of snow! Although cleaning my car off, and trudging through the snowy city of Pittsburgh can be a hassle sometimes, I think this city is at its finest when it’s covered in snow! :) Pittsburgh has a lot of gloomy and rainy weather throughout the year – we’ve even had some days like that in December and January this winter – and when the snow covers the ground it not only gives everyone a new perspective of their day, but a new perspective on the city also. It’s simply stunning.

I have lived in Arizona for the majority of my life but have spent a few years in Oklahoma and Utah. After experiencing many different seasons I really think I would love a heavy winter with the opportunity to escape to somewhere warm when I get the winter blues. But I have to say I love my AZ winters it keeps me pretty happy and I do enjoy going to the cabin when we want to be chilly.

I would rather have a mild winter with snow on Christmas and New Years and then light flurries throughout the rest of the season. Snow over the holidays is essential, but then chilly temperatures are all you need to wear cute winter clothing. (knowlton.stefani@gmail.com)

  28. says

I LOVE both mild and snowy winters. I don’t think the Holidays are complete without snow, but on other days I like milder weather so I can still take the kids out of the house and do things.

If I had to pick, I would pick the snow – perfect for cuddling with my husband in front of the fireplace and baking and making hot chocolate with the kids :)

I would much rather have a mild winter! I live in Indiana and at times we have lots of snow…when we do, I wish I was somewhere tropical :) Here where I live, we always say “ya never know Indiana weather…one day it can be 55 and sunny and the next day there may be a foot of snow!” Very unpredictable!!

I was born and raised in california, so needless to say I am a sun, sand and ocean kind of girl. I moved to a small town outside of reno where it snows. We dont get alot of snow but we do get it. My kids and my husbadnd love love love the snow and are snowboarding addicts. I didnt realize I loved and needed the snow until this year when we didnt have a white christmas and this last weekend was our first snow fall and today it is all gone. I have been sad and kind of depressed and when i woke up to see the snow it was so pretty and it gave me a huge smile. Last year we had our first snow storm that actually closed down the schools and I am hoping for more snow storms like that this year. I am going to call in sick to work and cuddle in a blanket on the couch and watch a movie or read a good book while its snowing. All while my husband and kids chomp at the bit to go snowboarding. Up until this past weekend we havent had snow or rain and I think if im going to freeze my you know what off there needs to be a reason- bring on the snow!! jenorozco@charter.net

But, I also live in North Carolina, near Charlotte!! But, since we don’t always get that much snow I would rather have a cold winter with a lot of snow just because I think it is so beautiful, it really accents everything that God has created when it is covered in white! :)

I would rather have a mild winter with barely any snow! I have many reasons that I am not a huge fan of winter but my top three are, 1. I strongly dislike driving in the snow, 2. We live way down in South Texas where it never snows. It’s hot and humid all the time. So anytime it drops below 45 degrees, we think we’re going to freeze to death. Honestly, at this point we have had a very abnormally mild winter. Basically what that means for us is it’s very MUDDY. We’re getting the same amount of precipitation, but instead of it being snow it’s been rain, creating mud like we usually just have in the spring. I probably would have used to say I’d rather have a mild winter, but right now, I keep finding myself wanting the temps to drop so that we’ll have snow instead of mud.

Being from Tennessee, we truly never get a lot of snow but we get ICE! As a school teacher and enjoying “snow days”I would MUCH rather have a BAD winter with lots and lots of snow. I would prefer mild snow. I live in utah so, it’s very random. Bring on the snow! I have lived in places, for the last 4 years, that are very mild to super sunny and hot during winter. And it’s not just the snow I love…it’s the super cute sweaters and boots that also come with winter! :) elizabethharrison07 at gmail dot com

I live in Arkansas and we always say “If you don’t like the weather right now, just wait 5 minutes and it will change again!” Which is SO true! However, when it comes to winter time, I prefer a mild winter with one good stay-home-for-a-day (or two) snow storm. We are due for our snow, which usually comes in late January, early February. The super cute knitted ear warmer would be perfect for when the snow does come! Even better will be when it’s football season again and the wind is making my ears chilly, just pull out the ear warmer and voila!

I would rather have a cold winter with tons of snow. We had a great winter last year and the year before when my daughter was a baby, but now that she’s old enough to enjoy it, it has only snowed once and maybe an inch or two. Hi Kate!

I would rather have a cold winter with tons of snow! I grew up in Montana and now live in Portland, OR – I miss the snow SO much! This year, I went home to Montana for Christmas, for the first time in 10 years – I was so very excited to have a white Christmas! But…it didn’t snow once while I was there! ;-( What a crazy winter it’s been.
