Vase de Fleurs Tutorial

next
Tutorial coming soon!
What do you think of my new vase?
Want one?
It’s very easy and very inexpensive. My total cost was $8.00! (I stole the wine bottle from my sister, so you will need to factor in the cost of the wine bottle unless you have a sister to steal from.)
Here’s what you need and what you do:
To get/buy: Scrapbooking stickers (3-d letters), spray paint, bottle of wine

1. Soak empty wine bottle in warm soapy water for a few hours. Scrub the paper off until it’s completely smooth. Let dry.

2. Place stickers on wine bottle accordingly. I chose to write “vase of flowers” in french.

3. Spray paint the bottle! Use enough coats to make it look opaque. Make sure you get the bottom, and the top of the bottle.

4. Then add flowers and enjoy!
Send me photos of your finished products and I’ll show them off here!

Adorable! I love that you used the letter stickers- I need to save up some of my old bottles. I’d love it if you would stop by my blog and check out the giveaway I’m having for a Dremel Trio!

Kate, did you know that you can subsitute the scrapbooking letters by using hot glue to write on the bottle?! Love this idea

Great idea! Will this work for colored glass wine bottles?
