Today, my husband and I are celebrating two years of marriage. And to celebrate, we are heading off to The Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC. I’m really excited about going to see it for the first time! Unfortunately, it is going to be cold and rainy. But. . .as I look back to our wedding, I remember that we went on a cold and rainy honeymoon to Charleston SC. But, we managed to still venture out and see the town so the rain won’t stop us this time either. Here are some photos of The Biltmore that I found online. I’m bringing my camera and will post more photos when we return!

Kate,
So I found your site through you tube and have been reading your blog for a couple of months now. You do a great job and I’ve gotten some really good hair tips from you. I was looking back when you first started and saw this post and what do you know, my husband and I just celebrated our 2nd anniversary AND we went to the Biltmore Estate as well! you mentioned your honeymoon was in Charleston. Well, no don’t get crazy on me, we actually went to Savannah, GA. But their very similar! And I’ve always wanted to go to Charleston. Anyway, just thought I’d leave a comment. I’ve no idea if you’ll actually get it seeing how it’s such an old post. I thought you mentioned you went to a hair school in Greenville. (not sure if you went to BJU?- I have a friend that went there) I really enjoy your blog! Especially when you post about David and Luke. It’s nice to see a mom who loves beauty and hair. May the Lord bless you and your family!

I realize this was from several years ago, but I wanted to tell you I’m convinced that June 12th is a magical day to be married. That is my grandparent’s anniversary. They were married 6 weeks short of 64 years. I hope you and your husband last that long or longer.
